Oh my gosh! The fact that Josh came back and validated Sebas’ mom on the fact that being a mom is hard no matter if you are single mom or have a partner. Giving her credit shows what a phenomenal person Josh is and kuddos to his mom she raised him into the man he is 😭😭😭

I think we all AGREE that Seba’s mom put her kids first and that’s speaks so much of a MOTHER. Coming from a mom you forget even about yourself and not everyone realizes that and it is very hard ❤

You can tell Sebas mom went through a lot of silent struggles and put herself aside a lot for her family! I don’t think she gave herself enough credit! I see a lot of comments talking about Josh’s mom but they’re both equally incredible inspiring woman who did a phenomenal job doing life’s hardest job regardless of the cards dealt to them ♥️

The comments are crazy, but I do think both Josh and Sebas did great in validating and making both of them feel special. Must I add… Josh’s mother did add during her labor story that she did not have a voice either and her husband at that time made a decision (that should of been hers to begin with) to have him naturally which she did not want. So I can’t imagine what other struggles she went through. Both sound amazing women, goes to show how women had it back then.

This is by far the best episode. Both moms have a different perspective of parenting. There is no wrong, or right. Some moms specially in the Hispanic culture put up with a lot, and stay quiet to keep their family together. It is a sacrifice to be a stay at home wife, and put your kids first. It is also a struggle to be a single mom and not see your kids grow. I love this real life topics as opposed to “influencers”. Keep it going La Platica!

So glad Josh gave credit to Mrs. Lorena being a mom is a hard job regardless if you have a husband specially doing it 24/7 now add a husband on top of that that requires there own attention and love as a spouse. As a single mom myself raising a baby boy, I really appreciated this episode. And I loved that there was duality in situations as in being a stay at home mom vs being a working mom, or being a single mom vs a mom who has a partner but both were still acknowledged and validated in the sense that just being a mom is hard no matter the circumstances. Thank you guys 🤍

Wow definitely an emotional episode. It goes to show whether you’re a working mom or a stay at home mom you are doing the best for your kids and those days that feel hard and you feel guilty for losing your cool or becoming stressed seem so valid and as moms we need to be more gentle to ourselves because our children will see the love we have for them by us showing up for them everyday and that is priceless. Moms are incredible.

Being a stay at home mom you don’t stop working Your job is a 24/7 job and you do lose yourself because your household is first As a working mom you can find yourself , but you can also feel that mom guilt for not being with your children and not having time when you work Moms are superwomen for sure !

as a boy mom myself, Sebas and Josh are the type of men i strive to raise. So smart and mentally intelligent and their moms are women i look up to for raising you guys to be like that. Loved this episode so much. NOW PLEASEEEEE BRING THE WIFE AND GIRLFRIEND 😩🫶🏻

Lorena needs her own interview, Josh’s mom is a chatter box lol she’d take over the conversation a lot & I can tell Lore had good things to say

This episode made me realize why I relate to Sebas soooo much!! I’m also the first born and was raised by a SAHM and my dad working in construction. Of course we’re grateful for our dad’s hard work but you realize how much quality time you missed out with them growing up. Our moms really are our first love and best friends. Siempre estaran ahi y nunca va faltar el desayuno 🤍

One of the best episodes I’ve seen from La Plática! As a single mom with two boys it was beautiful to hear how two great women raised their boys molding them into who they are now. Definitely cried and took notes. ❤️
