You can tell Sebas mom went through a lot of silent struggles and put herself aside a lot for her family! I don’t think she gave herself enough credit! The comments are crazy, but I do think both Josh and Sebas did great in validating and making both of them feel special. Must I add… Josh’s mother did add during her labor story that she did not have a voice either and her husband at that time made a decision (that should of been hers to begin with) to have him naturally which she did not want. So I can’t imagine what other struggles she went through. Both sound amazing women, goes to show how women had it back then.

To Sebas mom: please don’t be afraid to express how hard it is for moms in a married relationship regardless, moms in a relationship have it just as hard . I think everyone fails to recognize that even though we have a stable relationship with a husband always gone and us always in charge of kids really takes a toll on our emotional health and the feelings of isolation. Absolutely true ! I felt this 💯 yes we have hard working husbands and always providing for us but it’s hard being in charge of the kids 24/7. It’s mentally and physically exhausting however how do you express that without being told you’re complaining, or it being too hard to handle. I feel like some days are easier than others, when we are at 20% and your husband is at 80% even after a long day, pick up some of her slack it’s called being a team. ❤

This is by far the best episode. Both moms have a different perspective of parenting. There is no wrong, or right. Some moms specially in the Hispanic culture put up with a lot, and stay quiet to keep their family together. It is a sacrifice to be a stay at home wife, and put your kids first. It is also a struggle to be a single mom and not see your kids grow. I love this real life topics as opposed to “influencers”. Keep it going La Platica!

this episode brought so many tears just because I come from a single parent as well and couldn't stop crying at the fact that there are men out there who appreciate their mothers and this episode was full of love, acknowledgement and appreciation and thank you Sebas and Josh for bringing your amazing mothers on this episode. Very much appreciated. Favorite episode over all episodes. Love you guys and keep doing what you are doing you guys are amazing people and the appreciation never goes unnoticed.

Sentir la presencia de un padre es tan importante como su presencia fisica. En una familia el balance es importantisimo. Pero siempre es importante reconocer el esfuerzo y el amor de una madre. Sebas' mom was very intentional and selfless in her choice as a mother figure and that is absolutely HUGE! Kudos to her. Las dos mama's escogieron lo mejor para ellas y esto es lo mas importante y admirable. Being a mom is a dedication that comes with selfless love.

Loved the 2 different perspectives of moms ❤ I was raised by a single mom very much of a hustler like she had to be like Josh’s mom ❤ & now I’m raising my boys married like Lorena ❤

Not me sobbing at the end not only because of how much I appreciate my own mom because I truly hope that my son admires me the way you both admire your momma 😢

I absolutely adore this episode. Your moms remind me of my mom 🥺 They are both so beautiful, what a blessing that we still have our moms with us, and being close to them is even a bigger blessing. Thank you for sharing your Mom’s. 🌹 🌹🌹

I have to say I never comment on videos, but this touched my heart. So glad Josh gave credit to Mrs. Lorena being a mom is a hard job regardless if you have a husband specially doing it 24/7 now add a husband on top of that that requires there own attention and love as a spouse. Hardest job but for sure the most rewarding props to both moms!
