Philip is an amazing guy, saved my butt last year when I had a bit of a "situation". And the M2 is just as beautiful IRL as it is in the video. If there's one man I would trust to turn my car into the perfect track tool, it would be Philip. In another life, I'd apply for an apprenticeship at his garage.

Apart from the charge cooler, what engine modifications does this car have to make 580bhp whilst retaining the exhaust OPF (and I assume cats to stay road legal)? Sounds like it has a plated diff rather than the electronic M thing.

I love this car so so much! This would be a worthy upgrade for my Focus, if i've ever had the amount of money one would cost me! What makes a GT3RS so hard to drive Dale? Is it all the weight that's in te back?
@BTGDale3 жыл бұрын
A GT3RS, like nearly every high-end sportscar these days, becomes a real handful near the limit. The trend these days if for cars to have a lot of power, a lot of weight, and then rely on rubber and suspension. When you race cars like the GT4 Cayman they feel floaty because they're so fast but don't get much aero. It's the same with the GT3RS - you start hitting sections so fast that you soon realise you're entering with GT3 racecar speeds, but trying to navigate it through with street car grip and aero. It gets 'edgy'... mistakes happen fast and harder to correct. Adding more rubber and aero makes it easier again

You won’t get a GT3 RS for £100k though, 991 or 997. Maybe a 996, and then you’ll definitely be slower.
@sparkplug9643 жыл бұрын
@@peterdelamare Maybe but a GT3 is always be a better investment, and it's not all to do with power, it how the car drives and how it make you feel which is important, the 3 engine noise alone is worth the money?
@peterdelamare3 жыл бұрын
@@sparkplug964 I agree. You’re still not getting one for 100k though. The €100k M2 in Sterling is £87k.
