Lara is the Queen of story telling as well as an emotional vacuum. She sucks you right into the emotion of the story set to beautiful Orchestration. I have loved her since the 90's. She is one of the best female vocalists out there. Your face said it all. @@IsaiahHudson1 I have seen a couple videos, but they're not the right one. Needs to be the one from singer 2020 without any writing on the side. From what I'm understanding people reacted to it by queuing it up from a section of the whole show but I can't even find the whole show to queue up the section to send it to you. I shall continue to look to see if I can find it. Just make sure that if you do find it it should be a single frame of just him singing straight on into one camera with subs. I'm not asking for much LOL ✌❤😎

The music of Broken Vow was co-composed by Walter Afanassiev and Lara Fabian, inspired by a classic piece of Rachmaninoff (Piano Concerto N°2 in C Minor). Walter Afanassiev, an american/brazilian from russian descent, is a legendary composer and producer (he composed some of the greatest initial hits of Mariah Carey such as All I Want for Christmas is You and was the producer of the Titanic soundtrack that brought Celine Dion to WW fame). He is also now the producer of Dimash for his US career. When this song was composed, Walter and Lara were engaged, but apparently he cheated and she decided to break up. When she took this decision, that she knew would dramatically change both her personal and professional destiny, she wrote these incredible lyrics. Lara has said this is her preferred english song from all the songs she wrote in this language (there are many, and some are pure jewels). One reason is also because this song has then been covered by the greatests: - Barbra Streisand (she performed it in concerts from one of her tour but never recorded it), - Josh Groban (his cover made this song famous in US), - Morissette Amon, - Cakra Khan, - Regine Velasquez, - Almira (from 4th Impact), - Katrina Velarde, - Julie Anne San Jose, - Sarah Geronimo, - Petra Berger, - Harrison Craig, - Rimar, - Jackie Evancho (in AGT), - … Regarding Jackie Evancho, and at the request of Jackie's parents who found the original lyrics were not a good fit for a young girl, Lara rewrote Broken Vow in french as "Imaginer" with a complete different meaning.

They are both Canadians... " Two Canadians for USA too many". You get it. Ridiculous but show business is just like any doesn't like competition. Read between the lines and you will get the reason " why". Lara has been one of the most decorated European singers for 30 years yet sadly America doesn't know about her maybe just a bit. Have you heard about Shaman ( Yaroslav Dronov)? He is also Russian rising star. He writes his own songs. Arguably, the greatest vocalist, storyteller and interpreter of lyric in musical history. This video is from around 1995-98. I had the pure joy and privilege of seeing her at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC in 2018. She has lost nothing in the last 20 years. You just gasp for breath and hold it for 2 hours. Two thoughts: download the lyrics to "Broken Vow" and you will see just how heartbreaking it is without music. The words are simply extraordinary. Also, I never see anyone react to "I Will Love Again", the song which made her famous, BUT, find the piano ballad version. The more well-known version is actually a disco song and, while fun to watch, does not have the power and emotion of the piano version, although it became an anthem for women at that time. The piano version is a mini-play with a man and a woman that is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. If you do nothing else though , just listen to the ballad. I am having trouble finding the dancers...may have been pulled down.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and Lara is his absolute idol and main inspiration since he is a child. He covered several songs from Lara, sang with her and she wrote a song for him.
