Artists like her are so special and truly admirable. They live each song, not just speak the words, or sing the notes. She lives the story of the song on the stage and shares it with the audience. You can see the intensity and total commitment she has to showing the heart of the song. It takes her a bit of time to come off the persona after she sings. Like a seasoned theatre actress. After watching her, you feel like you were on that journey with her and she really takes you away. There aren't a lot of artists who you can tell really know/understand and live what each word in the song is about and able to express each emotion so very well in a live performance and have it come across as authentic..

Thanks for your genuine reaction to the amazing Lara Fabian! Lara is a phenomenal singer and Artist and she is absolutely unmatched as a live performer, and not only is she vocally perfect, but she also is a true Queen of Emotions and no one can compare to her. This performance of «Je suis Malade» is an absolutely brilliant timeless Masterpiece of the Highest Class! In my opinion this incredible Lara’s performance is one of the very best live performances ever in the whole history of music. I have seen this performance countless times and every time Lara's voice pierces me to the very depths of my soul and brings me to trembling and tears. Lara is simply out of this world…

Incroyable. She puts so much of herself into her songs; she holds nothing back from her audience. Every time I hear her I appreciate her more. She is actually getting better as she "ages" so don't be upset that you didn't pay attention when you were a boy!

You should see the live "Camouflage Tour" videos shot in 2018 where she introduces other nuances into these songs and proves that in her forties not only has she still got it but she's even better as she has lived with these songs like they are her children and she has let them grow up with her.

I don't know how old you are, but I belong to a generation of people who remember a time when songs weren't sung for acting. So is Lara. She is not realy acting, she lives the song and may even cry. And it will not be a shame to cry at her concert, it's called empathy. Insert advertising during an emotional peak in the song was not the best your idea. Such moments should be appreciated, not used for advertising, they make us more humane.

She belts them out with the same emotional impact in 12 languages!!!!!!!!!!!! For a sampling in 7 languages please youtube “ Lara Fabian medley 7” I consider her by far and away the best female vocalist of all time. She’s up there with the legends ie Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Streisand. But what puts her at the top of the female vocal mountain is singing in 12 languages!!!!!!! With the same emotional impact!!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!!!How many languages can Mariah, Celine, Streisand, the late great Whitney belt them out in??? Huh? 2? Far and away the best. I’m 73 and I would like to turn back the clock to the 1960s and to share with you and all your subscribers who read my comment , especially those who love unique stylistic female vocalists ) 3 songs by my favorite female jazz vocalist of all time who possessed a unique recognizable voice , a 4 octave vocal range, as well as a frenzied cult following back then and if she were alive today and in her prime ( she passed away last year) with social media like Facebook, KZbin etc her following would be in the millions). She’s not a belter but her riffs and runs are to die for with heartfelt emotional impact. Please KZbin: “Morgana king a taste of honey” ( a bittersweet song of unrequited love and a promise to return but never does and it’s sad heartwrenching aftermath. Great soulful rendition with fabulous emotionally impactful riffs and runs. “morgana King prelude to a kiss” ( the one recently posted by “ morgana fan” ) Hauntingly beautiful fluid collage imagery that would win an academy award for best imagery superimposed on a song and boy does Morgana SOAR in this Duke Ellington classic. Best female vocalist rendition ever of this song and never will be topped. “Morgana King fascinating rhythm” . “ oh how I long to be the girl I used to be” Heartwarming lyrics. By the way, all these ( and more) songs were from her 1964 lp titled “ A Taste Of Honey” with fabulous arrangement by Zito and I consider this album the best female jazz vocalist album of all time. Sadly, Morgana passed away last year but her music will never die. ( she does have a few live video performances that are fabulous) . I highly recommend you subscribe to “ Morgana Fan “ where you will find some beautiful tribute songs on her Birthdays from 2009 up to present done with beautiful collage imagery. And all her live performances. Her riffs and runs from her high head register are to die for. Over the years, I’ve listened to these 3 songs numerous times without a diminution of emotional impact. All love from SOBE ( South Beach, Florida US of A) Al

Lara is Quebecois but live long time in Europe. As per own words She feels Quebequer and talks without accent as French Canadian. But I think that her feeling comes from her Mom ( i understand that her mom was Italian) that used to Cook and Sing all the time at home. But her carreer move her a lot to Europe since the market in French was bigger. I hear plenty of singers like: Tony Braxton, who is also good, and better than Witney, but Lara Fabien combines Technique and Soul (Feelling). If you consider singers with Force, Celine can not compete with Aretha Franklyn. But Singers with Force and Feeling like Barbara Streisand, I consider Lara is the best in this Category. I listen music from 60, 70, 80 ... etc. The best Balanced Performed Singer in the Romantic Genre over all, ever. Lara Fabien. I can not believe that Lara Fabian could not get a Manager to bring her to Holywood and Las Vegas, and a writter for American Style Songs. Like Rene Angelil. Lara Fabian have more voice than Barbara Streisand (my Idol). I have 30 years living in Canada and followed the career of both Artists: Celine Dion and Lara Fabian. Celine has "force" but Lara has "force" and "Feeling". Celine has never make me cry, But Lara Yes. Am sorry that she didnt jump into the American and Latin American Market in English and Spanish, as she did in France and Italy. She kept going back and forth over the Atlantic. Laura Pausini has done better in USA, singing with others, and releasing some albums. But also Laura Pausini singing with Lara Fabian, gets opaque. I get the feeling that Lara intentionally sings in a modest wa,y so not to sink Laura Pausini. Laura singing alone is simply a Monster. Again I dont know if something happened with the Musicians or Lover, dont know, but in any case, she did not blast into the US Market. Now maybe she is too old. As in US you need to start a baby in the 20's
