Dear Aleks, thanks for your reaction and conclussions. And yes, that's why her nickname is the Ring. And indeed, the moment she sings the words: Je veux que tu me dises si c’est cet enfant Que j'ai pas pu t'offrir Qui manque vraiment - like she is realising at that moment that this was probably the reason he left her. Painful en raw emotion. Still she shines like years haven't gone by, her voice and her appearance like an angel on earth.

Dear Gerda, first I have to thank you for introducing me to AnnenMayKantereit. I don't know if I said that before, but want to make sure I don't forget to say it! You choose the perfect song for a beginner. Back to Lara, I always wondered about her nickname, but with this song it makes more sense than ever. I mean, I heard her many a time before, but never this resonant. It was amazing! She combines a wonderful voice, very pleasant to the ear, with excellent technique, but also with strong emotions that she always conveys so perfectly. She really is a wonder and it seems to me now that I know her better from her music, that she is also a wonderful human being. Thank you again for your kind words! ❤❤❤

Aleks, thank you for appreciating this very latest performance from Queen Lara. I long ago gave up trying to understand how she produces such full and resonant sounds, and just get lost in the beauty of her voice. What I DO know is that it takes incredible dedication to her art to practice daily to retain the flexibility of her voice. As a musician (trumpet and flugel), finding the will to practice scales and arpeggios each day is really hard. Lara's voice is of a rare quality and only gets better. Phil in Scotland

Seems like there's some fun in not being a musician, I get to enjoy music without hard work. 😉 I wasn't even wondering really how she does it, it was more of a cry of shock, as these sounds was stronger than I believe I've heard her produce before. It was beautiful and somewhat hard to believe, but very easy to enjoy. ❤❤❤

Thank you so much, Donald! I know what you mean, as her lyrics kind of broke my heart as well. She manages to put the worst things that can happen to a human, like losing a child or not being able to have one they want desperately into such a beautiful song that it has even more of an impact, but still doesn't allow the sadness to overwhelm her. The more I hear by her, the more I feel she really is a beautiful human being aside from being an amazing singer.

Her voice is unquestionable, due to her age the mix part is even more evident, and it is the one I appreciate the most. Alex asks himself how she does it, simple answer, she studies with an excellent vocal coach (Fabio Lazzara, also Sicilian). Maybe I misunderstood and someone will prove me wrong. But, from the little I have been able to read in these days and considering the theme of the new album, it seems to me that in this song, as in the previous one (Ta peine), the reference is to Lara's current relationship with her husband (who also appears in the clip of Ta peine in the final images). A relationship sought, gone into crisis and recovered (in the two songs she also talks about "magicienne and magie", the husband is a magician/illusionist). The reference to the son brings back a painful fact for the couple, perhaps at the origin of the crisis; after her marriage to Gabriel, Lara, who already has a daughter from a previous relationship, got pregnant but lost him due to a malformation of the fetus. It is not the first time that Lara (always very reserved about her private life) takes us into her personal world through songs (the theme of resilience in love relationships has already been addressed by Lara in the beautiful song Par Amour), and she did it also in the book "Je passe a table" where food recipes are a pretext to tell significant episodes of her life. Following these problems of the couple Lara then moved to her husband's homeland (Sicily) leaving Canada. I repeat that perhaps it is a film that I have built in my head and I will take it all back if proven wrong and in any case, to close on a frivolous note, if I were a woman I could kill to have Lara's clothes. 🤩
@AleksReactsАй бұрын
I will start where you ended and only reply in a huge laugh at your last sentence. You see, I have vivid imagination and I simply put this dress on a man for a second there. 🤣🤣🤣 In my mind, how she does it is more of a rhetorical question, but it's also nice to have a real answer. As long as it's this beautiful, I support her vocal coach and her to heaven and back. Now, you have just explained what I mean whenever I say I am not interested in personal lives of artists, as for most of them it comes through in their art. Thank you so much for giving me your view of the background story, I did not know about her child and I really am sorry to hear that. That's one of the greatest losses for anyone and I am glad she's using her music to soothe the pain. Both you and Raquel made an excellent choice of the live performance to recommend. Thank you for that as well, Vincenzo! ❤❤❤

@@AleksReacts You know, the dress would be convenient for me because I wouldn't have to shave my legs. 🤣 But other than that I love Lara's clothes because they are so simple but incredibly elegant even though, Lara would be elegant even with a garbage bag since elegance is in the person. And no, it doesn't mean less clothes but like kind of acoustic versions. This is a good example for starters... kzbin.info/www/bejne/nauUq5xtpLqnlbs Cheers @TTkingsman

LOL @ the meaning of stripped versions! It was clear, of course. On the list now, as you probably already know, I promise nothing so as not to disappoint due to time constraints, but I do write everything down! Thank you so much!

I am afraid to reply with Google translate, so I will do my bit in English. I've heard two versions of what the song might be about, one pertaining to Patrick Fiori and the other to her current husband and a child they lost before it was born. I do not ask which one is true, if any, but I do appreciate Lara in all her glory! Like you, I am very glad she's over her troubles and thoughts of suicide - that is never a good choice and she's too beautiful a person to lose. Szeretettel köszöntöm Magyarországot, családom egy részének szülőhelyét! ❤❤❤

❤❤❤ No worries at all on "reading English". I was afraid that Google translate might ruin your beautiful language and basically make my comment meaningless if I used it, but it seems to work well enough. You'll soon notice that I always answer (as much as I can). Welcome to the channel and I do hope you enjoy it. ❤❤❤
