It was in September, not especially cold but very very rainy. One of the concert of this tour had to be cancelled because of the rain and he was so sad because he loved his fans and didn't want to disappoint them. He's the best for us in France. It's one if not the best of his duet and God knows how many duets he did during his 60 years of career. I miss him a lot :(

Johnny Hallyday was the biggest rock star in France. Since the 60's if you asked anyone in france who is the biggest singer, everyone will answer: "Johnny!!!", even the ones who didn't like his music. With the biggest shows, a sort of "french Bruce Springsteen" concerning kind of music. When he died, his funeral were on Tv as if he was the president, it was the main subject everywhere (to compare, it was about the same thing than in US when Micheal Jackson died). He's a french star...but he was born in belgium...just like Lara, but most of people says they are french. Each time someone sings a duo with him, it's a big event, this one was very famous because it's one of his "cult" song, and everyone thought: is she really able to do it fine...and Johnny himself said he was impressed. The song is a story of a man who killed his wife because she wanted to leave he lost his mind, and it's the moment when cops come to his house in the morning to take him, but he dosen't want to be taken alive, he prefers to die.

I don't agree with you saying this reaction is disrespectful. This song is so full of energy and emotions, and she is just expressing what she feels the moment she feels it. And I think that is exactly why you look at peoples reactions. To "see" how they feel listening to the songs you love. I love that she is into it that much and enjoying it so much. Too raunchy and screamy from both Johnny Halliday and Lara. It gave credibility to those who were criticizing her at the time as an unrefined "grosse geule". People say this performance, giving the stamp of approval of the "great Johnny Halliday", launched her career. Maybe true. Many fans rave about it. Personally I hate it.
