She had been shocked by a scandal in Spain where a beaten woman died no being heard and protected by the local justice and police. This scandal led Spain to change their culture wrt to beaten women and become one of the more advanced country regarding the protection of these women.

Lara had a few roles on movies. She played a small role in an hollywood movie "De-Lovely" in 2004 with Kevin Kline and Ashley Judd. She also had a small but important role last year in a Quebec movie called "Arlette" where she plays the french Culture secretary of state who has a love affair - and a nude scene - with the equivalent Quebec woman. 😱 Lara never compromised with story telling and is always fully invested in it 🤣

Merci cette chanson est tellement belle, elle aussi terrible de vérité. Beaucoup l'écoute, mais ne la comprennent pas. Personnellement je préfère Lara en concert parce qu'elle est toujours a 300% . Cette chanson, est la seule que regardé en vidéo parce que l'image se suffit à elle-même. Lara chante et nul besoin de traduction. Cette chanson me brise le coeur, je pleure a chaque fois. Elle fait partie de mes chansons préférées
