Maybe instead of a plan to pan you could do the “these products will self destruct”. Like things you don’t use or should probably declutter you put either a usage goal or a finish goal and if you don’t hit the goal by eoy, in theory, they get decluttered. You could even do it quarterly since it sounds like you have a lot of products you want to bring in to test out and likely declutter

if you know you don't want to use the wet n wild lipstick could you keep it in a memory box? it's not so much makeup as it is a memento so I don't think you need to count it

Oh my gosh i thought i was the only one that kept a makeup memory box! It has several of my first including the first ever Urban decay eyeshadow palette. Its amazing to see just how much my makeup has changed. I now only add a product if I used it every day for 2 years or it was a special event. I have the lipstick I wore to my favourite cousin’s wedding 20 years ago in there with a piece of her bouquet.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that you shouldn’t absolutely not use the elf duo. Cream products can easily become toxic. Seeing mould is the last stage. If it smells off its already got mould and bacteria spores growing. We get a lot of people through our office after using expired products. Im a Hudleger (forgot what its called in English).

A trick for mascara and brow wands is to remove excess product with a coffee filter. It removes the product without leaving paper fibers behind. I learned that from a magazine in the 90s.

Sincere question - you said you dislike the gold and pink revlon single eyeshadows but will only declutter one- wondering why wouldn’t you declutter both? Is it mostly the desire to keep from wasting?

Yeah, I had the same thought. I would declutter both and focus on using up the Revlon taupe shade and the mac paint pot.

I'm surprised how much you have considering how well you do on panning and not buying. To me it seems like you have a lot that has been decluttered to you by friends. Have you read the Marie Kondo book? She's really good on this part - not letting people declutter to friends or family as it passes on the responsibility for stuff that should be theirs, and not taking stuff in others are get rid of because you feel it's a waste if you don't. Maybe banning getting new stuff from declutters, only allowing swaps would help. Or treating declutters like shopping would help? If you wouldn't add something to your collection just because it was on sale and only a fiver, if you weren't that interested in it before, is it being free because someone is decluttering it that different. (Love your channel by the way, it's inspired me to start project panning and use up things that are neglected).

I think you are missing : The fenty duo , that gold Sparkly shadow ( on the eyeshadow category ) The liquid shadow you said you were missing was featured in that shop my stash video you did ! So you didn't loose in the summer , if that helps :) Also : I think you always categorize items differently in every inventory ( I rewatch them often because I find them entertaining) so I think you missed some products last year and now you put them on here , so that's why the number didn't decrease ... but I still think you should be proud of how many products you used up . But like another comment was saying : I think it's time to declutter some of those products that you've tried to use and they just don't work ... otherwise they are just taking space and making your numbers go up ! That way you would be more free to focus on products you love more !!!!

OOOH shoot you're right, I mentioned the Fenty duo in my previous video while talking about the highlights but then I said I would include it with my eyeshadows. It's so funny to me how I know my collection less than some of you 😅 oops

You're right, there were quite a few products in this video and the previous where I talked about wanting to get rid of them, so I just need to put a mental 'decluttering' date on them, get some final usage, and then say goodbye!

Yes! Like the red messy lipstick that got panned was missed in the last inventory. FWIW, I think chapsticks shouldn’t count!

I will say that your uncategorized lip section is full of products that go in categorices,i mean I think two of the revlon ones are a lipgloss and a liquid lipstick for sure and the hourglass will go to lipsticks that will make your categorices grow but you will have one section disappeared and can work with the real number of products

I have 3 lip product categories outside of lip liners. Anything in a stick format such as lip pencils and crayons are stick lip products, anything in a bullet such as tinted lip balms and lipsticks are bullet lip products, and anything with a wand that you dip in to such as liquid lipsticks, glosses, and that weird sponge thing you have are wand-style lip products. There are so many different styles of lip product! Do you think you might be compensating for your no buy by taking in declutters and makeup site I think you said is called Buns?

Girl, at this point you have an attachment problem with the container not event the makeup product. And i know that cause i was dealing with something like that. Until one day i was im done and declutter all. Maybe just stay with the most recent ones.. i can tell those product and i mean 90% of your makeup collection is very old and needs to be gone.. hypothetically if you happen to declutter every single product that is more than a year and a half how many makeup products do you think youll have in every category? I think you should stop taking in makeup that other people are decluttering. Unless it's for sure something that's in shade you like. It does nothing to help you get to a goal of makeup you love. Instead of makeup you just have.

Yes, I'm surprised with how much makeup you still have despite everything you've used up. Perhaps it is time to declutter and to not hate pan items and also do not accept decluttered items on 2025. Maybe I'm being too harsh but personally I enjoy using new products until the old ones are gone, for example I try not to buy anything beauty related if I already have something similar, my collection is very small and smthings go unused for months 😅😅

I always tell myself I'm not going to hate pan products, but then I end up dislike-panning QUITE A FEW. I definitely need to declutter some of these in 2025!

if you dislike liquid lipsticks in general, why not declutter them? life is too short to use products you dislike. seems better to focus on using old products you do like
