All the Makeup Products I Panned and Decluttered in September & October! Goodbye to lots of Lippies

It's been too long since I did an empties and decluttering video - there are so many products that are leaving my collection in this update! I've got equal numbers of makeup empties and makeup declutters (including some surprising ones) and lots of hair products that I'm also saying goodbye to. This is my last video of this kind until the end of the year, so I'm excited to see how many products I've panned/decluttered in 2024. I've been on a some form of makeup no-buy/low-buy for more than five years now so I've been on a mission to curate, project pan, and declutter my collection.

I don't wear foundation or blush let alone eye shadow etc. My eyes are just so sensitive, so anything on my face sets off an eye infection. But I do love a little lipstick/ gloss. Because that's far away enough not to irritate. But I Love to watch these videos because I'm so intrigued to see what others use. I also live alone since my boyfriend passed away in May. So it's like a girlie chat if you get what I mean lol. Makes me feel less lonely.

Sorry to hear about your loss ❤ I find that I have the same issue with eyeshadows, have you tried cream eyeshadows by any chance? I find I’m less sensitive to it 😊

I wash my beauty sponge before every use and I use it every day. I tend to keep them for a looooong time because they hold up great and stay clean! I love a cleansing balm! I find it removes my makeup so much better than a micellar water which tends to dry out my under eyes and sometimes sting my eyes 😢

I use my blender every day and dispose of it after three months. I also wash my blender after each use.

Same thats why i end up preferring those cushion puffs from those cushion foundations. That way i can rotate through a couple and then toss it. Its pretty affordable and saves far more space compared to a blender. Although tbf i do love me a good blender. I was very happy when my sister gave me one recently since she usually uses brushes. Ive never had a real beauty blender before just bc personally to me its cost prohibitive. I mean that bc im in college but i havent had a job before so i need to use my money more carefully.

beauty sponges can be cleaned byputting them in a bowl with dishwashing soap and then microwave for a while. Or you can pour boiled water on it. UVC lamps will also clean tools.

I usually change my beauty blender every year but I don't use it regularly and I wash it every time I use it.

not sure if you've ever mentioned it, but what do you do with your empties? I heard that Sephora in Canada now has a box for makeup empties but i think they have to be on the small side and cleaned out. I think L'occitane stores have them too? I have been looking into it because I have a giant bag of empty makeup and skincare stuff that I want to make sure gets properly recycled, it stresses me out thinking about it hahaha

I'm very disappointed in myself w my empties 😅 I kept them but haven't been keeping count since March. I'm a bit fed up w the mess and really would like to get rid of it... Just have to get my stuff together and do the inventory🙄 I like your videos to feel a reprise from the slight insanity I see everywhere on KZbin 😅I like checking up on my beauty channels but I see too much encouraging and high fiving each other for ridiculous decisions... No it's not funny that you just have to buy this item that you don't actually want and can't afford because it looks cute... No it's not great that will buy a 69 dollar eye palette that you don't actually like and feel unsure of only because you like 2 of the shades. No it's not great to buy a palette full of difficult shadows that requires new techniques and tools to use them and that fall on your face after 2 hours 😭😭😭sometimes I lose faith in humanity
