I'm 72 years old and just happen to stumble upon a reaction video the other day and was totally blown away! How could I have lived this long, I consider myself pretty current in music, and just now discover Lara Fabian through a reaction video? What planet have I been living on? Anyways, I fell in love with her and her God given talent and have been stuck in a rabbit hole for a few days now watching every performance and everything I can find on line! Love this interview, I feel blessed to have found Lara's music, it has made me so grateful to add her to my life's experience in my musical realm of music I love and cherish.

I was moved very much learning more of her story and what she's been through, and how much she has overcome to be at such a beautiful place in life. Listening to her speak about her life and who she is, she is such a unique & beautiful soul. I was even more impressed that she performed amazing with an injured back & on morphine! Wow!! Lara, you are a beautiful, beautiful person inside and out. I am stunned at myself for how I could have missed your amazing talent all these years. But it's never too late. I hope to make it to one of your shows soon! ❤ from USA / Danmark

What a gift to the world Lara Fabian is! Her humility (in the face of being such a stratospheric talent), her integrity as an artist to be who she is meant to be (despite high-ranking others who wanted her to be something different), and her generosity in giving to up-and-coming musicians (i.e., via the Star Academy), where she impressively coaches them to similarly be who they are meant to be and use music how it is meant to be used, as an expression of oneself. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lara, for all that you have given to us!!!!

I absolutely love this video. It proves the dirt of the top structure of the hierarchy, the dirt of media and those who think they are in control of the music industry. Her refusal to all that they had in mind, has officially cleared her of all that dirt! You have done well, Lara Fabian. The people you have gained while following your own will, really do love you and that never needs to be questioned...because it is a love that is real, and a love that you well deserve. I am sure, as I am writing this, that his love will be transmitted with every one of your future performances in the countries where you belong because you will be transcending...into the depths of their hearts. As a musician since the age of eight, (I am seventy two now) I find her insight into the tenor and harmonic's of her own voice, and it's effects on the human emotion and psyche, profound ! What a tremendous disrespect against Lara Fabian in that French TV show they showed a clip about!! Two men talking about her body. Mysoginy at its finest. How some people could be so rude to a person as gentle as like Lara Fabian? How unforgivable! I remember to have watched Monica Bellucci going to the same show and noticing how those same men looked at her with so much envy. Well, Lara Fabian is lightyears ahead of those two in regard to integrity, respect, class, kindness, and inner and outer beauty. Lara Fabian, I hope that wound was healed and you always remember that you are incredibly loved, admired, celebrated, unforgettable and those two just proved how mediocre they were and are. Congratulations for your book, for your tremendous legacy, for you infinite talent, and your quality as a human being.

This is delightful. And it's interesting to hear Ms. Fabian use a Canadian accent more than a strictly French or Belgian one. I know she lived in Canada for many years but I have heard her do interviews in France and her accent in those is closer to a typically French one. Bravo, Lara. Your singing lifts my heart!

@andr3864 ай бұрын
@@OlivierGaffuri-wc2dl Not really. She's very congruent in the way she speaks. She lives in Waterloo Belgium and speak in an upper-class accent typical of her status in society. It's not that far removed from Paris and northern French accents but still quite unique and you can hear it in this Quebec interview or when she is on French television. When she speaks in private she might code switch to more Quebec, Belgian/French idioms. But she's pretty cogent in the way she speaks. She is not playing different characters.

"Backbone", the word surely applies to describe her temperament. Absolutely nothing has been simple or easy for her ; her success, she has earned every second of it. Her 'Force Vitale' has been nothing short of extraordinary. Also, let's not forget that she has worked relentlessly on her craft ; hardly any well-known singers in the Pop music world can compare to her in that respect. No wonder her voice has been so far technically practically invincible.

I am so pleased that Lara stuck to who she is with her musical direction, I am finally seeing an interest in various types of music, the listening ears have matured maybe? At one point Rock and Opera were considered polar opposite’s and now they are incorporated, when realistically if you listen to the rock great’s Queen, Led Zeppelin, the classical influence is undeniable, but people wanted to separate themselves “I am an Opera lover “ I hate Opera, it’s so silly, finally people are becoming more open minded❤️. Lara always stay true to yourself, you are truly lovely and incredibly talented.

To be honest, I've never undersood how come the audience let someone like Ardisson become "popular". I've hated him hom from the bottom of my heart since mid eighties when he was hideous with Karen Cheryl (whom I'm not not a fan of, actually). His career has been built on destoying people, being intrusive, insulting. Probably because he's mediocre himself. So I've never EVER watched ANY program where he was. Nonetheless, Ardisson is NOT representative of the French animators as most of them do like Lara. But we always remember the worst examples, who are usually a minority, which they discredit a whole group. Anyway, he's a disgusting b*stard, even more now that he's old, and uglier than ever, he's always been useless and ridiculous. It's never been humour like some say, but what has become now a typical French habit of sarcasm and free nastiness. End of

Lara's song Wings inspired me to take voice lessons. At 71, I sing better than I ever have in my life. The thought of sharing my voice with an audience is intriguing. I have no idea of where or with whom. I will be open to opportunities. I would like to sing with a band; I have no idea how to form one. Lara is my muse. Lepage and Thierry Arnaud) they did return on her past to put the shame on the American Producer back in the day who wish Lara was skinnier and she said she got an eating disorder because of those comment back in the days she took 7 years to put this behind her. Now She like eating food in good company with her familly. They also show a clip of the original French Show Tout le monde en parlent with Thierry Ardisson and the extract about her weight, her breast excetera. Guy A. Lepage ask why they said those stupid comment back then. We don't do this here. She said Canadian are respectful and well meaning and also the public won 't appreciate that. While the French interviewe are more direct and hurtful. Her French Public don't like that either.
