I would like to to hear stories about problems :) When something went wrong, what you did about it, how did you solve ... that kind of sharing help all of us I think. 🙃

Wow, I'm a year older than you, but haven't accomplished even 1/5 of what you have (I got into the developer game later in life, to be fair). You are very accomplished for someone so relatively young. You are helping me to quickly accelerate the advancement of my own developer skillset, and I've already been getting more projects as a result!

These 18 phases are really clever and only people with an experience of long time can think like this, thanks for sharing it's a treasure! While watching, I got an idea: why don't you start a live everytime you have time? That would be great to discuss things.

Hello povilas Sir, lot of confusion in my mind, please if you reply the comment, it about six months i am learning laravel i could make simple crud app, but i read your article in laravel news platform where you said you learn php first and make one project in php, i know php oop but not clear concept, what should I do?? Could make a project in php first or continue laravel??
@LaravelDaily3 жыл бұрын
You can do it either way, whatever you prefer. I would probably continue with Laravel and learn the missing pieces of PHP along the way

Isn't the PHP/Laravel era nearing its end? Just Compare the number of laravel jobs and some javascript framework jobs, you can see the future from numbers.

Not sure, in my circles Laravel is only growing

If you're in Europe, Laravel is very popular. If you're in the US and are a developer looking to get a job, it's not the best choice as other frameworks have more jobs. But even if you're in the US, I think Laravel is ideal if you are a freelancer, contractor, or run your own small business (I fall into all three categories). I've tried all the popular backend frameworks, and Laravel is still the best one for small to medium projects if you are working by yourself or with a small team, OR if you've been in the game for a while and are super familiar with PHP (I've been using PHP for 15 years).

can share how you deal with customers who know a bit of coding, and tell you to implement all the wrong design/solutions? i find a lot of free education is involved and takes up a lot of unbilled time...
@LaravelDaily3 жыл бұрын
This one is easy. You fire such customers. Of course, if you can afford it and can find other customer(s) quite easily.
@SEOng-gs7lj3 жыл бұрын
@@LaravelDaily haha yea that is the only option i have at the moment, i was hoping you have an alternative
@LaravelDaily3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, there's no silver bullet :) Either you deal with a bad customer, or you fire them.
