Larch (Larix) is a genus of woody plants of the Pine family (Pinaceae), one of the most common species of conifers.
There are about 20 types, the most popular of which are:
- Siberian, American, European larch.
As can be understood from the names, these species are characterized depending on the regional affiliation, where they saw it and named it.
In nature, larch is found in almost any area and can form whole larch forests.
Four species of larch are known in our Russian forest spaces, of which grow in the Urals - three are European, Siberian, Amur, and Polish or Western larch.
