Merci d'avoir posté tous ces merveilleux albums en entier! La discographie de Lareine est un tel foutoir que j'avais du mal à savoir quelle chanson était dans quel album, mais maintenant j'arrive à m'y retrouver!

C'est complexe niveau discographie oui c'est pour ça que j'ai tenté d'en faire une complète, c'est pire que ce que je pensais au départ. La seconde période est quasiment faite de best off et de reprises. Seuls "Etude" , "Never Cage" et "Winter Romantic" sont de vrais albums ou mini albums, "Imperial concerto" est une sorte de compil de leurs singles de l'époque comme l'indique le sous titres "Lareine Singles Collection", Première ère : lady-oscar.e-monsite.com/pages/kamijo/autres-groupes/lareine-discographie.html Seconde ère : lady-oscar.e-monsite.com/pages/kamijo/autres-groupes/lareine-discographie-2002-2007.html

What a great band. Never heard of them until now. I've listened to two complete albums. WOW. Where are they from and are they still around?

Lareine is a japanese Visual Kei band. They were active from 1994-2006, this being a compilation album summing up some of the most important songs from their latter era (2003-2006; as they were inactive from 2000-2003 right after their peak success with a top 20 album and a major label deal, never managing to regain their former success). Their singer, Kamijo, moved on to another band called Versailles, as well as having a solo career from 2013 onwards. He was the main songwriter for Lareine and carried over his affinity for cinematic, symphonic sounds and a fantasy like setting and image to both of these endeavors. However, it nowadays all happens in a metal context rather than the symphonic pop rock one Lareine was mainly known for. He has also undergone a dramatic change in vocal tone in a manner of just a few months back in 2007, now practically sounding like a whole other singer (srsly, I have never heard that much of a shift in anyone). Lareine's bassist, Emiru, had another band, Anubis, which later became his solo project, simply called Emiru. Especially that later solo album of his has a sound relatively reminiscent of Lareine. But that was also 10 years ago. These days he focuses mainly on recording and producing in his own Studio in Tokyo (called Metamorphose Studio Tokyo). When Lareine had their first activity break, Emiru formed a short-lived band called Ribbon, who pretty much just released an EP, entitled "Beautiful & Resistance" in 2002. They disbanded quickly but that EP is somehow really enjoyable to me. All the other members retired and began normal lives after this. You might also want to check out Malice Mizer (1992-2001) who are sort of a "parental" band to Lareine (it is a Visual Kei thing, there is a phenomenon called "roadie chain"), if you are unfamiliar that is. They are a visual kei band from Japan! Sadly they've disbanded in the year 2000. They have had a revival but are not active per se!

To be precise they disband in 2000, Kamijo (ht e singer) try to keep the project as a solo in 2001 but it was to difficult alone. The band come back in 2002 to 2007 with another drummer. They found themselves on stage during a live anniversary in 2015 for the 20 years of Kamijo's career. In 2016 Mayu (the guitarist) had written a new song which was performed during Kamijo's first online live in 2021 "Queen of Versailles" during which he sang songs from all of LAREINE's repertoire.

So a couple of issues. For one thing, the track listing you have here is incorrect. The songs are there (mostly) but not in the right order. Not entirely your fault, though. The listing you have is the one put online for the album pretty much everywhere you look, but it actually doesn't match what songs are on what track on the CD. The back of the CD case has the correct track listing, which I've listed in this comment complete with time stamps. The other issue is that you have actually cut off the last song, Vampire Romance. The CD itself is 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 37 seconds long. I've noticed that there's a long pause between some of the tracks, much longer than there should be, so maybe the audio didn't rip right and then it just cut off the last song entirely? Dude don't play smart when you don't own the real thing. I have the physical CD here right in front of me and her upload is the good order. The more common tracklisting that is deemded as "correct", both on the VK wiki, discogs and last fm is actually incorrect. I can even upload a picture of the back of the CD if you really want to.

Alors premièrement on écrit pas avec des majuscules c'est impoli. Deuxièmement youtube ne traduit pas automatiquement alors on fait un effort on met ses commentaires en anglais. Comme vous n'avez pas fait d'efforts j'écris en français, comme ça vous verrez le calvaire de la traduction automatique.
