Love the feeder idea!! A thought: When you get a new freezer, if the one you get rid of won't be used or not running efficiently, you can use it to store your grains. The spaghetti sauce looks great!! ~ Laura

@@AcresOfAdventure It is something we did when we lived in ME with animals (mostly to keep the goat out LOL), but we have a small freezer that stopped working, so that is what we are using it for now.

Great new feeder. Maybe put those broodies in a seperate little coop and tiny run with a few eggs each then you'll know which eggs will hatch in 21 days and can control the numbers. Such fun. Good luck from the UK.

We ended up breaking the broodie girls due to issues in the coop. Next time we will make sure to mark the eggs they are sitting on.

I just watched your other video of making your own chicken feed. Did you decide to not use it anymore? If so, what was your reason for going back to premade chicken feed?

Yes, so we got a new flock of chickens and those chickens did not eat it that well like the others and we didn’t know how their health would turn out. So we have been in the works of making a new recipe that our whole flock will eat but also with how prices of everything is right now we are making do with what we can. Thank you for asking this!

Are first flock though did very well with that feed and there was not any issues that we could really tell from them.
