Very cool! Love fairies. I bought the little birdhouses you can get at JoAnns & had my granddaughters cut & paint shingles for their house, then they painted their house. We made little platforms for the house to sit on & glued moss down. I had 3 little fairies, they picked the one they wanted & glued her on the platform. They all loved their fairy & the Fairy house they made. So much fun. XXX

@Say Something Crafty Lovely fairy Journal. Really beautifully done.There's a lot of blank pages though so I would have embellished them a little just so They're not completely plain because You can have writing pages but still with a little interest so there aren't such long spaces with nothing to look at but other than that it is a lovely journal. Really imaginative. Lots of cool techniques.I like the torn egge pages with the sewing around them. Really cool.

Very nice, so many things I haven't seen before. I love the hand stitching inside on the pages, that will make a cool touch on some of your Halloween type journals. The strap closure is also cool and different. I tear and distress but I've never burned my paper, I've burned fabric for flowers but not my paper, it's an awesome look. I like the contrast of the bright colorful spots on the botanical papers with the distressed look of the other papers. The fairies are gorgeous. Another great journal full of detail and crinkling pages, love that sound!

Just amazing work! I would love to know where to start to get the hang of making journals.
@MarinaWilsonSaySomethingCrafty7 жыл бұрын
I would start with a single signature journal. I taught a class of beginners to make a single signature journal and they were very happy with how it turned out. It's a great way to start off! Then when you get comfortable you can take on making larger journals with more than one signature. Reusing books is also a great way to skip the hard journal cover process!

I loved looking at your journal! It is gorgeous! It is fantastic, and I love the copied illustrations that you got from Arthur Spiderwick's Fairy Field Guide! My Mom has that book, and I love looking through it and reading all the notes about the creatures. I believe the PHOOKA is pronounced "POOKAH", with the H being silent. Have you seen the movie about Spiderwick's Fairies? It is very entertaining, and a little scary. I've liked this video, and subscribed to your channel. I'll check out more of your vids! Cheers! ~Janet in Canada

@MarinaWilsonSaySomethingCrafty5 жыл бұрын
I've been making journals officially since 2014. I decided to join KZbin at first because I got so many requests to see videos of the journals I made. From there, I got requests to teach/show how I did things. It just grew from there.
