Hi can’t thank you enough for sharing your projects and inspiration with us, all the time it must take you to do what you do I just want you to know you and all you do is truly appreciated. I wanted to ask you about the Amazon paper you referred to when you discussed your cover, I think I finally figured out what you were referring to but not sure. When you said Amazon paper in the boxes, as a recovering poor prime member who had boxes at least 5 days a week on my porch, all I could picture was all those air filled bladder like cushions not paper. Then I remembered sometimes the boxes contained crumpled up a heavy brown craft or shipping paper and I think I saved some. Like any good crafter with hoarder tendencies, I have about a dozen big trash bags stuffed full of it because you just never know. You never know when you could use it in a project besides it was too nice to throw out. So thank you for reminding me about it, it would make great journal paper and my husband thanks you because he can get part of his shed back too.

i love this journal the idea of it being like a field book to fairy and having little bits and pieces collected into it is so cool. i want to make one now...i have to wait until after my current projects :( i might make up my own mythical creatures and stories and images if i am feeling adventurous :) as it would probably take me a really a long time. thank you Marina i love fantasy novels and things to do with mythical creatures i have been into art all my life and have only made a few journals i have never thought of this before.

Wow and wow!! I have a 9 year old grandson who loves characters like you put in that book. With a few changes I could make one for him. Where did you get all the dark fairy pictures may I ask? Your work is superb.

I would imagine she got them off of an image search from Google... maybe try something like mythological fairies/creatures..? Many different types from all the different cultures!
