Your lace book is so pretty with all the bits of trims and antique laces and cheesecloth and wedding uppercase and I have a lot of that stuff too I need to make myself one like that because that's really pretty I'd like to make myself one just to look at it every time I felt like looking at my beautiful stuff but it's a beautiful book thank you for sharing it with everyone

Stunning Tricia, just stunning!! See now some of the things you have done on these pages are what I want to do on the jewelry boxes, like,that first appliqué. And I want to use some type of jacquard or brocaded type of fabric on them as well, but more of a satin type fabric. So jealous of the book and what will go in it too!! No wonder you didn't use any lace on the other project, you used it all here!! Just kidding:)) such gorgeous appliqués, the word is cut out lace, or cut work, I think you are looking for. That center page is so beautiful it almost makes me cry . . .

Oh, my -- that is gorgeous -- while you were showing it, I kept seeing your great grandchildren, reverently retrieving it from the acid free paper, and gently going through the pages looking for the perfect piece of lace to add to a wedding gown -- could be a grandson, as well, with his bride to be by his side, and him telling the story of how you made it, and how artistic you were -- until you come clunking down the hall with your walker and telling him to get the story right !! as you comb over your lavender-colored hair !! -- just kidding -- I thought your comment was so funny on your cousin's doll -- which I think is so cool -- that you would dye your hair that color -- but this project is gorgeous -- and I really could see into the future, each one in succession going through the lace book -- and as laces were added over the years -- with all your "free" time -- what is that? -- maybe you could write out a little story, or type it, about where you got the idea and the materials -- and you absolutely MUST include some of the lace from your holiday - Even though I am your biggest American fan -- I'm thinking of stalking that husband of yours -- you know, these people in hollywood who think they know what they're talking about making movies, with lines like -- oh, you get me, you really do -- how precious is that story, how you are together in that shop and the person tells you have it all for 20 pounds, and he shouts out with glee -- she'll take it -- sometimes real life is so much better than fiction !!! Hi Tricia I just wanted to clarify that you k ow I was playing with you before, right? You actually did do a nice job on the wood piece so I took the opportunity to play a little with you. You ALWAYS do fantastic work, gorgeous stuff so I figured I could play with that. My comment of you falling down on the job should have made it clear, as um, there is no job here :))You are just crafting I know you did not take offense as you are very gracious, thank you for that, but I just thought I should clarify that really I was playing. Sure I was surprised there was no lace or bling and so I could play with that:)) EVERY SINGLE THING YOU HAVE DONE has been gorgeous or at the least beautiful, tasteful and well made. You truly are the queen of what you do, unsurpassed. And I am NOT playing when I say that :)) on top of that you are a very sweet kind and generous person as that comes through very clearly in your videos. And gracious too. Nice to see someone with such talent is also a nice person and does not let it go to her pretty head :)) thank you for that and once again for sharing your enormous talent and incredible taste with us and teaching us at the same time. I am in awe of your beautiful creations. I've collected a very small amount of laces, doilies, etc. I certainly don't have even enough to create one page in your style. So, my question is, do you have any videos for a 'beginner' ? Where does one start? I know the first thought is, 'just jump in and get going', but with vintage laces and keepsake pieces do you have preferred ways to address making a book when one doesn't have the resources that you have? Just point me in the right direction. One last question, is there a way to swap/share with others that may be in my predicament?
