Oh Tricia, I shed many tears during the end of this video learning of your loss of Tala! She looked just like my Bella who is 14 next month. I don't know what I would do without her so it's good we have our craft to keep us busy. Last video I remember seeing her was a few days ago , don't remember date of it but she was hiding under the covers and pillow of the bed and looked absolutely so comfy and sweet. She's in another happy place now . I think the fairy garden will be lovely for sure. Hope we get to see it one day. About the gypsy book, I don't even know where to begin as that too brought tears to my eyes it is so so exquisite. You are so blessed with the insight to do these gorgeous projects. I have a fb page but fb is scary to me for all the things out there today going on. Oh Tricia-I just had a nice little cry with you. I am so sorry you lost your beloved little crafty pal. Fur babies are so much apart of our lives and give us such unconditional love. I have 12 cats - I know crazy but they are all rescues that would have otherwise been killed or dumped in the bush- 7 of which are related! My heart knows what you are going through - i love your idea of the little fairy garden-I hope when the time is right you share that with us. I love your Gypsy book-its gorgeous. I was never a fan of vintage, but you have changed my mind! I was so inspired to make a 5 generation album for my granddaughter! Your Gypsy Book is stunning, from beginning to end. I can't stop looking at it. Each and every piece is so beautiful. I love the dangle bits sooo much and the pockets!! You are so talented. I am so sorry to hear about your cat. Every time I lose one of mine babies it just breaks my heart. I have seen your little one and I feel for you so much. I have three cats that I rescued from the streets, and I love them so much. They love me too, every where I go they are with me and I must pat them all at the same time. I have to say I think this is my very favorite book that I've seen so far! I'm so sorry to hear about your "Baby" I feel for you! We lost one of our's that we had for over 18 yrs, he was our Little Boy. Our Kiddo and we miss him so much! What you need to do is make yourself a lace book with her photos. It really does help! Trish, I am so very very and sincerely sorry for your loss of your precious kitty. My heart goes out to you and your family, your children. I think the memorial in your garden is a lovely idea. Of course she had a wonderful life with you, you were always talking about all of your furry babes, and she trusted you to love her enough to give her the gift of freedom from pain and suffering, which it obviously broke your heart to do so. You'll have to leave out a little lace pile on your desk for her. You taught me to take technique and ideas from you and the so many other wonderful wonderful artists and crafters, but to make my project my own. I've almost completed my gypsy book, and this book you made says you all over. I'm glad it was your last project together. As your official American stalker, I have thought of you and your family so much this past week. We have three cats, and all came to us when they were so tiny and fit in the palm of our hands. Our oldest, Samantha Anne, will be 13 in October, and she is still very full of life, so I know what a great loss this is to your family. But, finally the weather broke here, and last night I rode my bike to the pharmacy -- the chemist, I think you-all call it -- and saw the coolest thing and thought immediately of you. I live in a very artsy neighborhood -- this area in the early 1900's was for the wealthier families in Richmond, and considered living in the outskirts -- the houses are huge -- not ours, which I'm thankful I don't have to clean those big houses -- but in one, and I'll try to remember to take a camera and snap a photo for you -- they have a lovely garden in the front yard, and in the middle of the yard there is this very fancy, wrought iron gate with lots of the scroll work. It's too small to act as a garden gate. The owner was outside, and we've chatted before -- I have a bright pink bike : ) -- and in front they've planted a little garden with rocks -- it's really pretty -- it's a memorial to their cat. That is where she would lay in the sun when the owners were outside working in their garden. I know whatever you do for Tala (sp?) it will be beautiful and bring you peace knowing how well loved and happy she was. In any life, that is no small thing. Be well, take care -- hugs, Patricia

Tricia, I'm so sorry to learn about your loss. I lost a cat when she was 20 years old. We also had a farewell in the garden. I love love love your book. The bells, coins and mirrors are so fitting for a Gypsy. I'm going to try and crochet the flowers dangle that you got from AliExpress. Did you get the mirrors there too? I am soooo very sorry to hear about Tala, I did leave you a message on your fb page. Clearly you loved her deeply and she you. What about making a bunch of tags of her pics and putting those in the pocket pages of this book, since it was the last book she made with you? It is so very hard to lose our best and most loving friends, who love us so unconditionally and Tala who loved lace as much as you, too. I know your fami,y has a missing part now, all the other animals know it. Thank you for giving her the best possible life she could,have and loving her completely. Maybe you will make her her own lace book, with lots of black lace trim! This book is once again, fabulous. As others have said, only you can do this stunning and gorgeous work, your talent is separate from all others, on a level of its own. Even if I tried to copy your work it would never be the same, you just have that special something. I personally am not a fan of the dark gypsy books, they just don't appeal to me. Funny since I love jewel tones, but your books are just really beyond description. If I could buy one you know I would, though I know you don't sell them:)) your work has inspired me though and at some point I will share pics of some of things it has inspired me to do. I don't think there are any words I could use that would do this book justice. This has got to be the most beautiful fabric book I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of amazing ones by fabulous artists. Wow!!!! I love Rosanne's bag, and your version is gorgeous! Just curious: Did you buy those little mirrors with the trim, or did you add it? Sorry to hear about your fur baby. It is so hard when we lose one of our little furry family members.
