Sweet potatoes are the hardest to cook. Even slicing thin, bythe time they were done everything else was tough. Maybe put foil over the whole works and butter everything.

You might want to do dense meat and veggies on the sheet pan rather than heavy meat, pork ribs, with delicate veggies. Usually the veggie will be way over cooked. Pork ribs in the Instant Pot are great.

Thanks for sharing all those delicious-looking healthy meals I was in the hospital with a bad UTI infection and it spiked my sugar real high I was almost in a diabetic coma I wasn't a diabetic until I had that UTI and it just messed with my sugar so now I'm trying to eat healthy so I can get my sugar back to normal and get my script up so I can start back walking again and those recipes that you did look so delicious as something I really need and thanks for sharing because I can't wait to try them and I know it will help me a lot so see you next time on your videos love watching you thanks

Loved this!!! And yes, cooking in the kitchen during summer (Texas girl here) heats the house up big time!! I end up using my crockpot a TON for cooking meats, then try “low heat or no heat” to round out the meals: Tacos, chili, pulled pork sandwiches, Big Mac salads, chicken salad, bbq & potato salad.... Lots of fruit and sides in air fryer!!

I love to use the boneless ribs in a soup. I cut them up into bite sized pieces, place them into a pot and boil them. Once the pork is almost done I add, diced carrots and shredded cabbage, plenty of garlic and s&p. Once the carrots are almost done I add two peeled and cut up potatoes and 1/2 cup of long grain white rice. I cover the pot, making sure there is plenty of liquid for the rice and potato to cook. At this time you can taste and adjust spices. Yum

A little tip about cutting those potatoes easier: Cut a small slice lengthwise out of the side of a round potato. Use the flat surface you created to keep the potato from wiggling while you are cutting it into slices. This works for any round vegetable to stabilize it.

I finally caved and bought a chopper thing like you have. After 37 yrs of marriage I kept thinking I don’t need that. Boy was I wrong! I make a lot of salsa and it would take me about an hour to get everything chopped now I use my chopper and can get it done in about 15 minutes. Best purchase ever!

Hi Abby! Happy Mother’s Day! I’m new to your channel and I love it, your recipes r simple but not just flavored with with S&P only like some do ..I gotta find and try out some of that Uncle Chris’ seasoning (I’m a spice collector !)🤣 .I absolutely love my chopper it has a ton of different inserts to make anything chopped /sliced/diced to the size you like. I like that unlike when I do it with a knife I don’t always get everything the same size .. and the chopper does pretty much does and that and gives your food an advantage of even cooking! I also have a mandolin that I love that slices from super thin to very thick .. so great for slicing food so fast (use the hand guard!!)it’s great for when you are canning food and for slicing up potatoes! I mean ,really, get one for that reason only and you’ll be like me with a 👍for a kitchen gadget that u can’t live without! Blessings !❤️
