From Software? inXile(half employee size, but still)? Obsidian(Microsoft exclusives from here on, but who knows how it'll be, Microsoft is heavily focusing on PC currently)? IO Interactive? Phiranna Bytes? Paradox Interactive? So far from just Larian and CD Project left, going by the 200(with exception of inXile which is around 150)+ employee studios. I'd argue the best games are mostly coming from < 50 employee studios these days(Divinity etc being extreme exceptions). Games like AtomRPG(atom team), Expeditions: Viking(Logic Artist, currently doing the combat for the new Divinity game), Kingdom Come(Warhorse studios), Pathfinder: Kingmaker(Owlcat Studios), Pathologic 2(Icepick Studios), Torchlight(Runic Games), Tower of Time(Event Horizon), and many more.

I've honestly never felt so personally attached to a studio like I have with Larian. Firstly you make amazing games. Second, my buddy and I are meeting in an hour to co-op the first Divinity Original Sin on PS4 (it's our first playthrough and we're doing 2 x lone wolves). Once a week we meet to play that game and it's been an incredible experience and an an amazing way for us to stay in contact now that we're older with less time. Thanks for being the way two old friends keep their friendship burning. I've put in countless hours into DOS2 and it's honestly become my favourite game ever. You guys rock and I've never played a baldurs gate game but I'm fully prepared to buy the new one to support you guys. All the best from Ireland

As someone that focused studies on 3D arch-motion design and recently done a 180° to character/props creation for games (high poly/baking and stuff) Larian is a great studio I hope I will work for them one day. (It's one of the few studio in my country too (Belgium)). They seems to be efficient to work and yet can have a lot of fun.

The Black Ring from the Divinity series remind me of dark magic using cults from Fire Emblem like the Loptyrians from the Jugdral series, the corrupted Duma Faithful from Gaiden/Shadows of Valentia, the Grimleal from Awakening and "Those Who Slither in the Dark" from Three Houses. (Please no spoilers for Three Houses though, I'm still playing it.) Not to mention that while the Divinity series has the Divine and Godwoken and the Ultima series has the Avatar, Fire Emblem: Three Houses has an equivalent in The Enlightened One but again, no spoilers. The fact that Divinity: Original Sin 2 is on the Nintendo Switch alongside Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a pretty awesome thing to happen. You guys rock and I hope you can keep on making some truly marvelous video games, especially Baldur's Gate 3!
