My stepfather's family is brilliant...I watched his educated intelligent sister spiral into the madness of schizophrenia when I was pre-teen...by the time I graduated college decades ago, her conversations were rambling and disjointed. I never corrected her just visited with her and gave her love til the end of her days. Some of her children abandoned her because they could not deal with it.

TO ALL THE EXPERTS HERE ON KZbin: Lark Voorhies *_has already been diagnosed by Medical Professionals (Board Certified Psychiatrists) with Manic Bipolar Disorder_*. She also has Lupus. Now is she on multiple medication for both illnesses or just getting worse from her Manic Bipolar Disorder who knows. Bipolar involves mood swings; episodes of Mania ranging from depressive lows to manic highs. One of the main episodes is (what Lark is doing) *_suddenly speaking extremely quickly for long periods of time, but *_rarely able to follow a train of thought through to its logical conclusion. Instead, they tend to jump from one subject to another in rapid-fire mode, displaying thought patterns that make little sense to others around them_*. AND THEY BECOME PARANOID. They also have difficulty focusing on one thing and will tend to over-analyze their thoughts. Thoughts and speech jump seemingly at random from one unrelated topic to another, which increases distractibility.

+TheBrownIsland As someone who is married to a man with Bi-polar disorder, I can tell you that all you say is 100% correct. My husband can be moody at times, with or without his meds. He can be short tempered, but not violent. His mind races like a motor boat. He can start a conversation and cease that convo and start on something else directly after that. Then there are times when he will mention something only to cut the convo short and not say anything at all for a few moments. He is also very forgetful. He has lost his keys every other day. Never know where anything is and believes someone is watching him when we go to dinner. If he did drugs or drank he would be 120 times worse. First, I thought that perhaps he has ADHD which is what I have. I am distracted easily. and he exhibits other traits that remind me of myself, but after studying his behavior and researching the disorder, yes, he has BPD.

I was a big fan of saved by the bell and Lark was my favorite it's sad to see her in this state and ET makes me mad when they know that she is not well but still want to interview her, because some of the things she was saying was not making sense they are complete trash! but I pray that things will look up for her..

She was a perfectly coherent person when she was on saved by the bell, and like so many other young actors that have to deal with stress and other problems, she dove head-first into pharmaceuticals... and probably from a young age, abused anti-anxiety meds, anti-depressants, muscle relaxers, beta-blockers, painkillers, etc, etc.... she didn't live 20 years as a successful actress and then wake up one morning and say "Darn, I seem to have contracted a bad case of bipolar schizophrenia or something... oh well" Nah, she's been living a lifetime of mixing pharmaceuticals that there really is no data or information about. I work in the healthcare field and believe me, there is no paragraph in any medical book that says "If you're a popular child actress experiencing ridiculous amounts of stress and you take 15 different kinds of meds each day as well as (possibly) alcohol, cocaine, etc, then this is the exact diagnosis ________ and you must do _______ to recover. If you continue these habits for the next decade this is what will happen _______" It's not as simple as all these simple-minded people think: "Well, if you are depressed, take an anti-depressant. If you have a headache, take an aspirin. If you have an infection, take an antibiotic." Whenever you start mixing medications, with each one it multiplies the amount of side-effects and potential physical AND mental problems EXPONENTIALLY... just ask Heath Ledger.... oh wait......

When I was put on amitriptyline, to help me sleep because I had PTSD, I experienced a flight of ideas while on it. The doctors never tell you about the dangerous effects of pharmaceutical medicine.

Her new husband is definitely using her, and he admitted almost as much on his Twitter page last month by stating how he didn't truly want to get married or remain married. He also referenced being "forced" into this marriage with Lark. But God still loves Lark, so I know He'll pull her through.

Nope. What she's experiencing is a lack of drugs. Her mental imbalance is most likely brought on by her attempting to be off of drugs. Most likely just prescriptions also. She's naturally having a neurotic episode due to lack of medication
