This is THE greatest instrumental of all time. There are many you could argue for, but this is the one. It has everything greatness requires in a musical composition and performance: timeless melody, emotional connection with listeners, soulful and technically brilliant instrumental performance. The word, “great,” is used all the time, which lessens the meaning of the word. “Great,” should be reserved for only “great” things. Sleepwalk is one of them. And these two ladies are doing it absolute justice. Fantastic cover.

My late mother used to love this song. My older siblings told me that when I was about 3 years old, and this song came on the radio, my mom would stand me up with the soles of my feet on top of her feet and waltz me around the room. I don't recall such moments, but that's what they tell me, anyway. This was a sweet blast from the past. Thank you, ladies. Stay safe and take care of those you love.

Hi: Music has always been a personal passion of mine. I am a retired high school teacher and I have a plethora of 20th century music that I've accumulated over the years since I played various songs from various eras virtually every day (I taught U.S. History). Part of my perception of the power of music is the study of the artists, composers, producers etc...I LOVE this song but to put that into text would not do the song justice. Since I discovered KZbin and learned how to navigate through it, I'm like a young person who was let loose in a candy shop and told that I could have whatever I wanted...I have watched this video several times and of course the music is beyond great, but I also watch you two enjoying playing it. To me, that's part of my experience. I worked with young people all of my life and one gets great insight just by observation...it is obvious that you appreciate this great, mellow tune. I have given small seminars on 20th century American music that basically turn into nostalgic trips down memory lane, which is totally OK with me since music is our personal poetry, but thank you for picking this song and then playing it so passionately. (yes, that's a run-on sentence). This is KZbin being used for it's best purpose.
