Larnell should react to Slayer's "Angel of Death". Dave Lombardo drums like a demon on that song.

Have you ever considered reacting to some video game music? Search up "True Damage - Giants" Made from the game League of Legends. The developers put serious thought into it and paid a number of well known artists online and internationally to do the original music to help promote skins in the game. If you like them other greats by them are the songs by the band "Pentakill", and "K/DA"

My man, you love covers of covers then check out Jon Gomm's Ain't nobody by Chaka Khan on acoustic! He also did a song called passionflower that went viral after Stephen Fry received the KZbin video whilst trapped in a lift, he retweeted it and the rest is history. Cheers, love the channel from UK ✌

The OTHER drummer for The Puppies, Sput Searight, ain't half bad either... lol Snarky Puppy - Strawman kzbin.info/www/bejne/inmVaHl8nZ2kb7c (Mark Lettieri on guitar SMOKES this one, and my young cousin, Jusin Stanton's, keys solo is pretty cool too...)

Snarky Puppy called in this guy last minute to play the drums in their "We Like It Here" session. During his flight to the Netherlands (where the session was recorded) he learned and composed some parts of all 8 songs they played. He only had raw Snarky Puppy audio material in his cellphone. He basically played with Snarky Puppy right after he landed and that is amazing

Larnell is such a humble, thoughtful man. He put himself into this situation, open himself up to criticism, just to prove a point about respecting other music genres. The active listening he does is on point. In addition to being one of the best drummers alive, he's a great teacher. BTW, he now has a t-shirt on his website of the "I'll take a little more volume".

This is the most watched reaction to a drummer that I have seen on KZbin! Specifically this song and specifically, Larnell Lewis! I am a part-time self taught drummer. I have a drum kit set that I can play in my apartment. Everything is electronic so I put a baffle in front just so it doesn’t bother the neighbors and I also put some extra padding on the floor for one. I’m pounding the pedals.. I will never reach this level of excellence. The man is just a magician, expert, and a genius all in one! He didn’t play it exactly like Lars, but for gosh sakes, he is just freaking amazing and if you watch and play Snarky Puppy song, you’ll just go oh my God! That’s totally his element, but he is such an amazing drummer, and so many drummers love, his ability to listen to a song, one time and play through the whole freaking thing! And this is a metal standard! Took me so many times to figure out how to play this song and all I can say is anyone who wants to play drums, if you’re young enough try and learn, like Larnell Lewis! the man hears, eats and drinks and sleeps musical notes and my gosh! Thank you for this rendition!

Hearing you brutha speak with such respect and admiration for a fellow brutha and musician was refreshing. That’s what needs to happen not only as bruthas but as men. I learned a lot from this - and will watch again as most of it soared over my head. Can always listen to this great classic. Thanks for posting it (on my birthday even!) So interesting his breakdown of the song's format. Those terms - most new to me! I wondered about that drumbeat he missed too - on the original listen the beat drops in with no foreshadowing pre-beats, just BOOM (you'd be able to count if you knew it was coming), Will look for more of these types of videos so I develop a better vocabulary - tools to understand the art and science of music.
