@@steverogers7601 Yeah in boxing and MMA, all the large American athletes tend to go to the NBA and NFL, and other countries which produce great fighters like Mexico, Japan, Phillipines, etc. people dont get to HW size generally, so the talent pool is generally small
@eetfuk35712 жыл бұрын
@@julianmarx2002 as far as I remembered, only Brandon Vera is the LHW/HW fighter who came from Philippines. and Mark Munoz was a 185lber I believe, correct me if I'm wrong though. but if you care to answer my question, why Poirier is always wearing a logo of Philippine Flag in his jersey before Reebok era?
@jotunblod Жыл бұрын
@@julianmarx2002 Fighting and team sports are apples and oranges. Large Americans are more typically overweight, lazy and thus fail at the highest level. It has nothing to do with other sports as the same excuse can be used for every other country. Ask any boxing trainer, and they'll tell you that Americans don't have the work ethic.

The introduction of Kimbo and Roy. Roy has done well in his career, but if Kimbo had gotten use to his bulky body he would still be here with us today. I’m very ecstatic that both Kimbo and Jorge were able to have similar start up as well as commemorating UFC 4 video game to Kimbo’s Legacy.

Rampage was the ideotypical bully in this show. On the other hand, Rashad showed how a true martial artist carries himself.

This was the first Tuf season I watched every episode. 2 great entertaining coaches and great upcoming fighters. Even better they're heavyweights

It’s crazy to think Kimbo had a heart condition during all of this. RIP Kimbo.

You could tell when he was jogging. He got tired quite quickly. Poor guy, died very young.

I thought there was somewhat of a love connection/interest between Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer in Top Gun. Then I watched this season of TUF between Rashad Evans and Rampage, lol.

I love how much Dana hates Roy and Roy is just extremely indifferent to Dana. Roy never was a joke and Dana hated him because he oozed confidence but looked the way he did. Big Country is one of my all time favorites, proving show muscles don't do shit for you without real strength.
