I can't fully say why, but this is one of the move scenes I'll always come back in life. "Calendar Time for Buddy"

0:26 "Late again. Bud, can't you tell time?" The moment you realize that the bartender is Captain Spaulding from House of 1,000 Corpses. The way he says "time" Is what did it for me

This is hilarious. Very insightful also. A little glimpse into the current life of Buddy who takes shit from low lifes and cleans shitty water in bathrooms. This is so well done.

What's absolutely hilarious about this scene is Larry is actually using a pretty sophisticated method of argument without even realizing it. Made famous by Socrates. He's just letting Budd poke holes in his own logic by reciting his own words back to him as questions and exposing how ridiculous Budd's reasoning is.

One of my favorite movie scenes. Larry is so funny and somewhat charismatic. He only appears in this one scene, in the office, and he didn't even stand up! But his character stood out the most for me for some reason.

Agreed with everyone about this being the best scene in the sequel. I like to see this as a guilt ridden Buddy torturing himself for his actions against the Bride due to his loyalty for his brother...the scene with him and Bill before specifically states his intentions: he doesn't dodge his guilt and he doesn't jew out of his comeuppance. In his view, he deserves the shitty life he actively looked for by disbanding from his brothers group, moved out to El Paso (I believe this happened right after the Wedding Massacre and he fought with his brother, left his squad, and just stayed), and just went one meager job after the next. Easily one of the most sympathetic members of the group and I wished he didn't have to die. I loved his character even more when he buried her alive-stating his undying love for his brother. Bill probably never realized Bud's loyalty to him till the end

That point where he takes his hat off and stands there a few seconds denotes how far he's fallen from his glorious brother.
