My dad grew up with Larry Chance, both from the Bronx, my dad used to drive him around meta-fact was the one who drove him to American bandstand. Then from my dad‘s 70th surprise birthday party 14 years ago we had Larry Chance & The Earls perform and my dad used to go to there once a month dinner in Yonkers with the whole Bronx crew from back in the day and I was lucky enough to go a few times. My dad is 84 now still going and at least half the people who used to meet up for dinner are all gone now. Life is short, but Larry left his mark. 1000 years from now people will be watching him on who knows what it would be called then, but his music will never die. I’m going to post a few videos and pictures of Larry on my channel soon. RIP Larry
