Wow im so sorry to hear the sad news. I only recently became aware if this act and have been enthralled by the duo. Just incredibly phenomenal. I see alot of the Beatles and Elvis in this kids swagger. God rest his glorious soul!!! Legendary Rock Icon 💯 🙏🏆🎖️🥇🎸🪽

In the fifties, when I was a kid in New Hampshire, I was watching our tiny, round-tube TV and WBZ Boston announced they would show a west coast show called Town Hall Party. They gave a little intro, explaining who Larry and Lorrie Collins were, then the show started. I focused on Larry and was amazed by his music and his moves. A neighbor kid named Tommy yelled " Oh Look, he's cross-eyed !", when the camera zoomed in on Larry's face. I yelled right back " No He's Not ! In the intro they said Larry and Lorrie both have unusual eyes, grey/green I think." If I had ever met the Collins Kids, I would have told Larry " I defended you once, in the fifties, when some kid thought you looked cross-eyed, would've fought him, too, if I had to." That day I was stunned to hear them take simple, little "Shortnin' Bread" and just rock it and roll it to the moon. God Bless You, Larry- You've gone to be with your family, your sister, and your Savior.

I only discovered these two talents yesterday only to find out they're both deceased recently. Why weren't they more famous?

I remember the "B & B" grocery store in Tulsa giving out a 45rpm record of the Collins Kid's in the '60s.. My Mother still had it in 1999 when she passed away..
