Yeah, I was watching “a football life: Emmitt Smith” the other day and it had younger Larry on there explaining that he became the pro on and off the field that he became because of his 2 years with Emmitt Smith when Emmitt went to Arizona to wind down his career.
@RubensBarrichello.

And you had Boldin on the other side. An elite humble guy and great teammate! Then Kurt Warner was like damn I better find whatever it was I had in the MVP season with the rams. And then mofo threw that halftime SB pick. I can't talk about it I'm a cards fan and I still can't get over it. I've cried twice after a football game. 1st time was in 8th grade. I was the teams QB and OLB. Our first game we were up 8-0 on the opponents. The other team drove down the field by running QB sweeps (away from my side mind you) and scored a TD. Time ran out and they were going for 2. Our league didn't have OT draws were draws. I KNEW FOR A FACT. They were going to run a sweep/stretch/ option away from me. I told my entire team they were going to do that. They scored the 2 pt conversion 😭😭. I couldn't believe it. Like bruhhh I told the whole fucking team what THEY WERE GOINg TO DO and my team let me down. I should've just ray lewised that shit and fully commit on a snap count lol. And the only other time was 1 year later when the cards lost the SB. My aunt was a huge Cardinals fan and she had lymphoma and she was going to die a week after the SB and I was watching it with her.

Larry Fitzgerald is widely considered by fans, coaches and peers to be one of the greatest receivers in NFL history. He was the heart and soul for the team that drafted him as the #3 overall pick. He played all 17 seasons with all with the Arizona Cardinals. He carried the Cardinals to their first ever Super Bow appearance. He is second in NFL career receiving yards with (17,492), second in career receptions with (1,432), and sixth in receiving touchdowns with (121). Salute to #11 Larry Fitzgerald!!!

@@anel313det you must have him confused with someone else. I hadn't counted specifically, but I'm confident that no less than 35% of his career TDs were of 25 yds or more. Did you watch this video? Sure ,it's highlights, but it's clear he had the ability to go up & get it. And obviously his arm & hand strength were stellar. He saved many INTs for all them bum QBs he suffered with.

@@anel313det although I agree w most, there's a few points - TOs hands were not even close to Fitz. As an eagle fan, I can arrest to that. And how did Tyreek Hill make your list? Not only is he far too young to be included , but he's a one trick pony. Hes lightning fast, sure. But he ain't going over the middle taking hits , running slants, etc. Moss & Jerry are immortal in my book. But there's one dude right with them in total yds and that's Fitz. The greatest star I've ever heard is his having more career tackles than dropped passes. That's just ridiculous.

To me, Larry is the greatest WR of all-time simply because of his consistency even with the QB carousel he's had for his entire career. Jerry Rice may be at the top of damn near every WR statistic, but he had 2 of the best Quarterbacks In NFL History throwing to him. Larry had an aging Kurt Warner throwing to him, literally the only notable QB he's ever had. I'm so glad to experience the greatness in Fitzgerald. If any player deserved a SB ring, it's this guy. It’s sad though the Cards didn’t win that game. It was winnable but the team let it slip through their fingers. Unfortunately, I think that game was the team’s ceiling. I don’t ever see them getting that close to a title again

Best hands. Best blocking WR ever, too.

Been an AZ Cardinals fan since the 1998 playoff run (PLUMMER!!!). Loyalty is my absolute Number 1 trait as a human being. Loyalty is everything. Adrian Wilson is my favorite football player of all-time, followed by Aeneas Williams, and Larry Fitzgerald. Those 3 are the greatest to ever play at their respective positions (Deion who?! Jerry who?!), and yet they stayed loyal and devoted to AZ. They could have requested a trade at anytime, but they wanted to stay in AZ. Yes, we absolutetly suck for all eternity, and our ownership is trash, but I will take what I can get.

Can't forget Pat Tillman and loyalty. Fitz and Tillman are my personal favorites

Amen brother. Tillman turned down a fairly big contract from the Rams, but he turned them down out of loyalty to AZ. GO CARDINALS!!!!!

Fitz has to be one of the best at making contested catches. Over Lynn Swann, Mike Irvin and Justin Jefferson. Not talking about routes or speed. 11:20

Literally. Some of the best players to play in their sport all time both named Larry deserve the nickname Larry Legend. First ballot Hall of Fame here he comes.

2012 was the last madden game that tried. I remember peyton hillis on the cover but in actuality the last madden game I remember from that era was madden 10. The one with larry firz and troy p on it

More tackles than drops in his career. RIDICULOUS. One of my all time favorites even though he always torched my Packers when it mattered 😅

Wish Larry would have left after kurt warner, definitely could have gotten a ring with that talent.
