You got the purse figures wrong on your writeup on this clip. If you refer to page 167 of Ken Norton's biography, GOING THE DISTANCE, Norton writes that the purse was $3,700,000 for himself and $500,000 for Larry Holmes.

Holmes would have been handed his arse on a flat, if Muhammad Ali was in his prime. If Sonny Liston who was a heavy hitter, could not win over Ali, there was no chance Holmes could. Holmes fought Ali when Ali had the disease and was passed his peak
