You're right about this coz i once blackout on a battle because on what i did in the beginning is loving the music and my body is just moving without having to consciously listen to the pattern of the beat i just became one and i blown the audience i hit the beat 3 times without noticing how i did it, wasnt luck it was just pure soul dancing and connection

And in the 2nd round i consciously listen to the beat few secs before i start trying to remember the pattern then i fked up. its a big difference between trying to visualize the beat by listening to the pattern than just unconsciously being one with the music

Well, I wouldn't put it on the angle too much. If you check Rubix previous battles against the twins, he actually did much better. He probably thought Larry was going to go easy on him but Larry came to slaughter

Laurent’s style always been more unpredictable and more dangerous to the body

@@Kickinthescience I think that's because EVERY time we (*or at least for me*) see Laurent, he does something new. With Larry it's like he's super slow to change his style. But it is a clear difference, look at this and compare it to any of his battle bad battles this year and it's a very very stark contrast. He's actually grooving here, and not animating damn near the whole time. It's just he's nowhere near as free as Laurent, that little foot-tap circle thing he did is new to me. One thing I said a while back that might make sense is that because they're already rich and famous and they don't really NEED to battle anymore. Larry is whipping a Lambo and a Bugatti, and this mf Laurent pulled up to this event in some damn Catcus Jack's, and the Hennesy x Les Twins collab durag they have like GYATTTT😂. The difference between Larry and Laurent tho is I think Larry is in a *"if it ain't broke don't fix it"* mindset, where as Laurent is in a "it's not broke, but let me add some mods here just because I can"0

I felt like rubix just really wasn’t feeling the beat , that was a weird remix they put on the song , Larry did have a bit more time to listen to the beat and understand how it was flowing , but yeah … some beats really test musicality and vibes to the song , I just really think rubix wasn’t feeling it compared to if rubix really was fucking with the song , feel me?

Tbh you don’t need to hit every beat that isn’t what freestyles are about it’s your musicality/ groove and connection that matters. For example Alot of larrys freestyles in 2020 were flat because it was pure beat killing no rhythm changes, levels, buildups etc. What rubix did here was flat because he wasn’t connected
