Sometimes Larry's music selection was his genius. As Nicky said in an interview, Larry played emotionally. Depending on how he felt. He made you feel it on that dance floor. The Richard Long system amplified all our emotions on any given night . Yes, there were better DJs that mixed better. Tee Scott, Frankie Knuckles Larry Patterson, to name a few. Frankie, a child hood friend, said when Larry was on. Nobody did it better . I would STAND ON THAT !

Gospel music is inspired by a heart of faith! In your own right you define your faith walk. Jesus said that true worshipers of God worship Him in Spirit and in Truth - religion restricts this. Ever since I started keeping it real with God, He's proven Himself even more real to me. Religion is the anti-Christ, don't let it stop you from getting to know your Creator who desires to walk in oneness with you!

When I first heard this song in the Zanzibar it blew my mind and couldn't help but to get on the dance floor. This was real club. I would give anything to go back to a weekend of the 80's. The Garage, The Paradise, Studio 54, and most of all THE ZANZIBAR. If you were born in the 80's or 90's you definitely missed the best time and era ever of the club scene and music.

Kudos for "Dear White People" for including this song which is timeless. I thought this was and extended version but it is worth hearing it twice.
