Larry P. Arnn is the 12th president of Hillsdale College, where he is also a professor of politics and history. He received his B.A. from Arkansas State University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Government from the Claremont Graduate School. He also studied at Worcester College, Oxford University, where he served as director of research for Sir Martin Gilbert, the official biographer of Winston Churchill. From 1985 to 2000, he served as president of the Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship and Political Philosophy.
Dr. Arnn is the author of three books: Liberty and Learning: The Evolution of American Education; The Founders’ Key: The Divine and Natural Connection Between the Declaration and the Constitution and What We Risk by Losing It; and Churchill’s Trial: Winston Churchill and the Salvation of Free Government.

There is a maxim in my life which states, "Any deviation from perfection causes a correction". The blessings of tyranny, we now find sufferable, is the consequence for the massive set aside by government of the principals which delivered the Blessings of Liberty. This is the way God, Natures God, and the Supreme Judge of this World Teaches. You, as an individual, should always wonder, when things do not go as you had hoped and prayed, "What did I do to cause this event in my life to go this way?" What is the Moral of The Story in their Life?; otherwise known as, The Principal in Fact; when, a fact is properly defined as "An event that has happened & the circumstances surrounding the Event". People today seem to have abandoned this form of self-diagnostic or it is not being taught at home or in school.

Hillsdale College is one of the best Institutions of learning in America not only in a class environment but also thru the Internet. I have been associated with them for the last 4 years or so and I am also a benefactor contributing with a little bit of money each month in order to give my thanks to that great institution for being so dedicated to our youth and children in various ways. I also have taken 34 courses thru the Internet and the quality of the lecturers is always first class with some renown individuals in such staff. That has made me refresh my memories and knowledge when I was in high school and college many years ago. Thank you.

I sure wish that the Christian leadership had not ignored Hebrews 10:12-13. And Hebrews 5:13-14. If we, as Americans could work “collectively” toward restoring our desire to stand by the Founding Fathers’ “intentions”, but “separately” in our “convictions” from our FAITH in GOD, and “keeping” the “rights we have been given, for ALL, might be able to “move the ball forward.” I pray for THIS kind of quiet, but determined, patient, agreement and action, from our American countrymen.

An interesting thing to do, regarding our “times” as a Protestant Christian: Remember how flattery was used to entice “Christian” down the “wrong” road, and remember how “Christian” resolved his situation in the Castle of “DESPAIR”, when he was with “Hopeful”, his friend, IN PILGRIMS PROGRESS. I think these 2 situations are actively happening in our culture, as well as in our CHURCHES. (1 John 2:16) (unfortunately, the WHO, WEF, UN, CCP, will probably try to use this…but i sure hope not.). I love Hillsdale College and enjoy listening to Dr. Arnn. However, I have to ask if I misunderstood something or if Dr. Arnn did in fact say something exceedingly arrogant and misguided. Around the 51:20 mark, Dr. Arnn says to parents "You have invested in this college... but it has invested more in your children than you have." Did he really intend to communicate that the college has invested more into kids' lives than their own parents have?! Or am I missing something?

There is a spirit at Hillsdale College that is powerful. If you are so inclined as to consider such things, I recommend you go to this place in Michigan called Hillsdale and experience for yourself the spirit of which I know. In my mind it is the Holy Spirit at work. Look into the eyes of the students and teachers and hopefully you will experience what I did - that is a desire to become a better person. It's worth the time, even if you go alone and just observe. Something good awaits you!

I would say that in many ways USA is at the race to the bottom and Americans shouldn't deluded themself that it is otherwise. Can USA recover form that? We will see. But, we shouldn't assume, that it would. Such view would be very foolish.

The first thing humans have to do to better their lot is to remember they are what they were when. Then we have to accept our basic nature; we are animals with several evolutionary traits that worked well for us when we were more animal than man, but today are too often are hindrances to social ascension. We distrust anything and anyone real or imagined as different. As in "stranger danger." The male brain is too often hijacked by testosterone in lieu of rational evaluation of facts, consequences, and circumstance. Greed is too often the dominate nature driving the affairs of men. If we are to obey the prime directive of creation, "to thrive" we must accept what we were, and are, and establish means (eg: the rule of law) to curtail acting on our basest natures. We will have to take the time to educate our progeny to the truth of us and what suppression techniques will work to keep our base natures in check when they show their hideous, ascension killing faces. We can not blind ourselves to ourselves with emotional blinders as we have been doing now for far too long. We can no longer tolerate those of us who feed chaos and block human ascension by chronically acting on their base nature. Not individuals, groups, organizations, corporations, body politics, governments, or nations. We recognize the prime modality, "the rule of law," but have as yet to grasp its true value to our ascension.
