I mean don't you all have better things to do? Like taking care of the people in your situation. Not discussing everything on the Internet. Take what's best an leave out all the rest. Try it!

The only thing I disagree with is when he says that people that deliver false prophecies are not "false prophets", rather they are "wrong prophets". But I don't believe in tacking the label "false prophet" on somebody as fast as others do. I believe that if a person does not claim to be a prophet, and others do not call them a prophet, then do not call them a "false prophet". Other than that one point, I think Larry is right on the ball! Many charismatics need to listen to this teaching and heed

Acts 21 talks about how GOD was giving prophetic words concerning what would happen to Paul IF he went to Jerusalem... and every single TRUE christian who prophesied this interpreted it WRONG, telling Paul NOT to do what God had put into his spirit to do--to walk right into Jerusalem, and get arrested. I have known so many who do this. God speaks, and the one prophesying feels they have to add their own two cents of personal direction. But God DOES NOT give personal direction via prophecy.

Jesus said that His sheep would be able to hear His voice for themselves, and would discern how to follow Him in their hearts. They do not need prophets to hear it for them. Prophecy exists for the purpose of edification, exhortation, and comfort. Not for personal directives.

That is a bit of an awkward statement kind of true. There are no personal directive prophecies, or should not be .... how about this ... because the purpose of prophetic words is to further the kingdom. So if I receive a prophetic word. It's purpose is to build me up in order to build up the kingdom.

For ME if someone had a prophetic word what have you.. I always new before. Some you just have to put it on a shelf. For ME anytime I have to WONDER, guess at.. dreams, visions.. If I have to ASK .gee was that God.. for ME.. it is not. Seek Him first. Watch and pray. Get OUR life right. Stop sinning. Live for Jesus. watch and PRAY! Be READY!

Prophecy has ceased. There is no need for it. The Bible is sufficient 2 Tim 3:16-17.

this is sort of confusing. perhaps these prophets that are so accurate are not of God and get their information from the 2nd heaven and not the third , you can't take up for these people because you stand in the pulpit you have to be careful that you, yourself do confuse and mess up people and get people to laugh...you are confusung

What I heard was: 1) Consider the source; meaning prayerfully test the Word you have been given to the Word of God... Hopefully this helps some 🙏❗️

He taught on how to test prophecy which is important, whether it is truthful, and the condition of your heart determines whether it not you receive the word...whether it is the simple preaching and teaching of the gospel (the parable of the sower... The condition of the soil if your heart) You judge a prophetic word by knowing the word of God and testing it the same way you can tell if someone is off in singing. We see commanded in scripture not to despise prophecy but to test them.

Wow. The problems with this theology are many. We must question anyone who believes they can prophesy. Then when they think they can and do, they make up a world in which they can devise rules and regulations, all unscriptural, jesus nor the apostles never taught such things, but these guys have whole teachings on how to give and recieve prophecies? And look at the attitude, talking to us like we are in kindergarten. No, this teaching is not biblical, it is all man devised and propagated.

follow this mortal and up in the mortuary. Larry lost his anointing in the early 90's, he did not follow the Lord unto the Feast of Tabernalces, he pitched his tent in the Vally of Shittum.

I don't know any persons I consider to be a Prophet. I think that the office of Prophet was done away with the coming of Christ. He fulfilled the office of prophet priest and King. There are no more prophets in our day. God speaks through his son in these last days as it says so clearly in Hebrews Chapter one. I am amazed how many people claim to be prophets on the Internet. Prophetic preaching is exegetical preaching. Unfortunately most people have never hear exegetical preaching.
