John the Baptist was like all the other Jewish believers at that time. The expected the Messiah to liberate them from Roman oppression.

I can promise you that he doesn’t like all those guitars behind him and the dark theater. He puts up with it because every church is doing it because they are serving the flesh. Like he said, they are trying to create an atmosphere which ends up being fake.

Since I wanted to get closer to God after witnessing a religious women praying so deep, I am a Christian so I was going to church and pray in my way but never doing deeply or belived in Him on that level. So I decided to find out much more on my own and I found that scenario where Jesus talked about Blasphemy against Holly Spirit, I became terrible anxious to comit this sin and my mind started to think on those stuff. For 8 years I forgot how to be happy, couldn’t find my peace , asking Jesus for help but felt lonely and unforgivable. Every time I try to speak with Lord or Jesus , these bad things keep talking in my mind and then a sad feeling of disappointment, that I have no chance now to get repentance. I felt that everyone it’s better than me and even murdar it’s not that serious as this blasphemy’s thoughts. I thought for so long that it’s just me who suffers from these but I’ve seen many people struggling with it so I am not feeling alone anymore . I pray to Jesus to give me more faith in him and in his power and to release me from this hell ( captivity in my mind) The fact that Jesus said these it’s never going to be forgiven it’s just broke my heart , watching these video helped me to understand that devil it’s laughing at me and really enjoys these guilt which he poured in my heart. So many nights of crying and suffering while I was smiling outside and pretended my life it’s so good and perfect, intrusive thoughts or Toc how they call it’s exhausting and hard to live with. But if that’s what God thinks it’s better for me to became stronger and faithful, I will obey him and his willing ❤.

❤ Bill Johnson ❤ Bethel Church........ I think Jesus came to show man what he could do in the right relationship with God. A testimony. 2019 Randy Clark Healing and Impartion School at Bethel Church In the evening , Haley Braun was giving words of knowledge on the platform at the Civic. Attendees were to pray for one another. Haley said, " HEARING." The lady in the row in front of me raised her hand , I asked what her problem was.. She said deafness in her left ear. We were standing up. As I was trying to find words to pray, my right hand started shaking. Then I raised my right hand above her hand. Then, as I touched her head, I blew air on it . BAM!!!!!! She dropped like a rock into her seat ..... then I commanded, " EARS BE OPENED NOW IN JESUS NAME!!!" Her hearing was restored All things possible, find his will and do it. PEACE / SHALOM

No Kingdom without the King. "He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” Luke 1:32-34

❤️🔥”God chose Israel for intimacy. Israel chose distance for safety. 😮 Israel had a drive to see God’s intervention without seeing God. To live in a miracle culture and become bored/despondent bc they did not know Him”…wow!! My mind is arrested. Lord, never let that be our fate…Ahhh…I must continue to know/seek His ways so I can know Him! The All Mighty Great I Am wants to be so close to us…no distance at any time! 🤯 One day to be able to physically sit right next to Him as He creates 🤯 I usually need quiet & space when I create…not Him! To watch His ideas speak Words and become life! My head is 🤯 God doesn’t go to work and then have a few hours with us…He wants continual intimacy with us…Such a simple thought, but it is really profound to me tonight! ❤❤️🔥❤ Wow! This teaching revealed another beautiful love facet of God! 🔥♥️🔥

You should also have the gift of interpretation. Without interpretation your words don't make any sense. "Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret." I Corinthians 14:13 Now you explain. Acts 2:6-11
@michaelshaw257620 күн бұрын
Biblically there are a few different operations of tongues. When speaking in tongues as the culmination of receiving the Holy Spirit, there is no need for interpretation. When used evangelistically, there is no need for interpretation. (Acts 2 is an example of both these operations) When used as a private prayer language (like Paul referred to in 1 Cor 14 "...I speak in tongues more than you all...") there is no need for interpretation. But the use of tongues in a church gathering as a public message needs to be interpreted (1 Cor 12, 14 mainly deal with this operation).
@postcodeox27820 күн бұрын
@@michaelshaw2576 Speaking in tongues is a human language not gibberish. Also you need the gift of interpretation with the gift of tongues for it to be effective. "Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret." I Corinthians 14:13
@michaelshaw257619 күн бұрын
@@postcodeox278 Not needing interpretation does not mean gibberish as you illogically concluded, neither does it prevent it from being a human language. God knows the language being spoken. In Acts 2 the people heard their own languages being spoken by the disciples, who did not know the languages they were speaking. There was no need for interpretation since the hearers already knew their own language. So this evangelistic operation of tongues is an example of a situation where the interpretation is not needed. Paul brings up in 1 Cor 14 the contrast between private tongues and public messages in tongues. The public message type is the context of the requirement for interpretation (1 Cor 14:13 that you quoted, and the bulk of the chapter). Note the contrast in this passage between private and public: 1 Corinthians 14:18-19 ESV [18] I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. [19] Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue.

I struggled with Danny Silk's book, as it was handed me in the context of a my addressing the commission of a crime by an unrepentant church leader. Later in a different church, I have seen the culture of honor teaching used to avoid confrontation of stalking, sexual assault and predatory behaviour. The idea being that to honour another we must assume that they want to repent. It creates a vast lack of safety in a community where we were promised we were safe. Also, isn't there a place for public restitution to earn back public trust especially in the context of predatory behaviour? (For example the present situation with IHOP-KC)
