Thanks Larry. I never knew that the hip rotation should pull the arms and club thru the impact zone.

Thanks for the drill videos! Very helpful for those of us who are experiencing cold weather and aren't able to play.

Nice drill, Larry - it was the early shift to the left side that really killed me over the decades..! Thanks, William

Will try and work on this. I typically have the other problem, where my hips and body have rotated but my arms get left behind and dragged through. Any tips for that?

hard to say for sure without seeing how the swing looks, but best guess go slowly first making sure arm/hand/club unit stays in front of torso and moves together entire backswing and downswing =)

Wouldn't this motion prevent the deceleration of the leading arm that these days is considered necessary for whipping the club? Thank you

this drill has nothing to do with what you are asking, this drill is strictly to help people sync up their arms to their body turn and feel the proper sequence from ground up, nothing else =)

Combine Larrys videos with Marcus Edblads videos and you will be breaking 80 in no time

Where did you learn this drill? In my opinion, this drill will lead amateurs to feel like a push (trail arm, aka hitting), when the better mechanics of a golf swing are pulling (lead arm, aka swinging) the club head through space. Drill, no bueno!

@@igolffff I understand the drill, it is a motion familiar to anyone who has played hockey. My point stands in regards to amateurs and this drill.

its ok if you think that way, this video has nothing to do with pushing and pulling of your arms, im confident this video will help more than hurt. If what you described is how you interpret this video, than this video probably isn't for you and that's ok =)
