Absolutely not, thank you. That would be the worst idea ever for one of the best series in the UK.

I think they should keep it how it is, 12 episodes and the special. Much more intimate in that sense.

Jackson Brown there talking about rebooting the us office not the uk version, Steve and Ricky haven’t worked together for years and is well known that they don’t even speak anymore
@jacksonbrown41125 жыл бұрын
@@deanbrown7470 it isn't well known. Its speculated, as I thought the same. But the way Steve talks about it makes me think otherwise. He said he'd work with Ricky again later in in this interview.

Is it just me or can you almost here a bit of American in his accent when his says certain words?

He's from the south-west of the UK. In the South-west they put heavy emphasis on the R's in the middle and end of words, a quality shared with American dialect. Infact, you could put forth the argument that Americans pronounce their R's so strongly as a result of early settlers being from the West-Country (The Pilgrims sailed from Plymouth after all). Those from England who speak 'The Queens English' would pronounce the word Tractor as TRAC-TAH, whereas anyone from Somerset, Devon or Cornwall with the traditional accent would pronounce it TRAC-TERRR. When Pirates are portrayed in movies they seem to have the accent , and Samwise from LOTR speaks with a West Country accent too. 'MISTER FRODO! 'Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew'.... :)

@@BoutYoungAnnaLee all true, but he also lives part time in America (LA).

@@GUITARTIME2024 He does. But to me, a person who comes from the same part of the world as Stephen, he sounds proper west-Country UK. Exactly the same as he always did since those first broadcasts on XFM Radio with Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington. Much love x

It's his Bristol accent. They flatten their As and the Rs are stronger.

Come on Larry. Are you really that bad in needing the money? Why are you still doing this? Can't see passion at all. Merely reading the cue cards

Well when you get interviewed 50 times a day you are bound to run out of stories. How many funny things can happen to one person?
