I love this man, as an actor. I don't care what he's in, he's always fun to watch.

Bruce Dern is awesome in every movie or show he’s ever done, especially Gunsmoke.

There is that unique aspect of Bruce Dern's voice and speech that made him so effective as a villain. Can't quite describe it.

My dad knows Bruce Dern from The Cowboys and other Westerns. I know him from The Burb's. He was great in that movie.

Although I hated watch The Cowboy's after John's character was killed, I have no animosity towards Bruce. Like he said, cancer killed The Duke, not Bruce.

And the number of people that can't forget that he killed the Duke in the Cowboys. Interesting career/life for him.

Bruce Dern would be a perfect baseball or NBA GM especially sabremetrically plus I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to listen on breaks when he was in the movies or tv shows about his uncle Archie Macleish and Ezra Pounds and his granduncle Adlai Stevenson and his Godmother Eleanor Roosevelt

I like what Bruce says about being fair. He decided to be like his uncle the judge who’s motto in life was to be fair. That’s actually a pretty good idea for all of us. But actually when you look at Bruce’s style you can sort of see it in him. He’s not the kind of guy that’d pull a fast one on you. And that shows in his demeanour. It give him a kind of pause that others usually don’t have. And I like that in the guy. I really do. Let’s cut the other guy a break. Let’s be fair.

Fighters fight. Smokers smoke pipes. And writers write. Imagine if you will, a tired old broken down ghost writer living in a ghost town, that’s completely deserted except for a few un-named dusty streets and some tumble weeds. That’s what happens to those who are bereft of God. They start off with good intentions believing in their atheism but finally it produces nothing. I don’t want to abide their scoffing arguments anymore. It’s just a pile of boring junk. It’s too much for me. Enough is enough. They seek me out and come to my door weary and sore with tales begging me to admire them. But I’ve heard it all before and I’ve really had enough. No more please. Excuse me but we aren’t friends anymore. Be happy. I hope all goes very well for you. But we are not yesterdays young men anymore. I have found God and my saviour Jesus Christ which you can’t abide because you cannot quench that craving inside to be admired. Its your fix. Your tonic. Yes you got what you wanted. You wanted fame. Recognition of your worthiness. But God was too much competition for you. Hence you bought into the lie of atheism.
