For heartstopper you have to watch the show you will love it… I love the show so much and it made me wanna read the books tbh ik they have audiobooks too, it’s a 2 season show and 3rd season is coming in October

I really felt what you were saying about the first book. I once read a book where the main characters parent had a random heart attack and died. I got so scared that it would happen to my mom and I had to wake her in the middle of the night fo check on her. Ever since I keep randomly checking if she is actually breathing at night.

I like listening to memiors or non fiction books at work. It passes the day, I dont have to think about what playlist to put on and I get to learn about other people experiences. My daughter got me to read Heart Stopper and graphic novels in general. I really liked it.

If you’re getting into memoirs I highly recommend Patti Smith’s memoir “just kids”! I had to read it for a writing class and was surprised by how moving it was. Patti Smith writes beautifully, and it’s written almost like fiction so I found it easy to get into, especially as someone who doesn’t read memoirs. Love you bestie! 🫶

I just finished the whole Heartstopper series yesterday! I DIED. So so so good! 😭😭😭 Edit: I finished the currently released graphic novels, and I started the novellas today. I am shocked that I loved these so much! This was the first GN series I’ve ever read, and now I’m hooked. 💙
