Larry, it’s always nice to see your videos and the knowledge you share with everyone. I thought this wing shim video was great and hope to see more maintenance type videos to give us trike pilots more insight on how to fix small things like this ourselves. I’ve been trying to find some in-depth videos showing how to properly perform the sprog height check inspection using a digital angle gauge. Maybe next time you have to do one you could post a video. Thanks Larry and keep the great videos coming. Oh, thank your camera operator.👍👍

I can see how smart you are in engineering on these trikes. That is why I want to purchase the REV from you because of how it's engineer each trike. Pat your self on the back of you skill and smarts on these trike.

"...no real science..." Heh. You have so much science falling out of your mouth for free I can't keep up or remember it. Thanks for your giving, in a form I can refer back to. I am glad Space-X recruiters have not found you.

The Rev X is perfect for what I’m looking for. I have 15 hrs training in a trike (2012). I’m nearing retirement and I’m considering the Rev X. Everything Evolution makes is the top of the line IMOH.

Just had to reassemble a wing today where the straps weren't over the ends of the leading edge. I'm making my first forray into maintenance in trikes with an Airborn Edge X Classic 582 and Stream III wing.

Had a gentle turn after assembling my Ace Aviation wing, the maker recommended adding a shim to one side rather than messing with the tip washout angle, in the end I recurved the outer two battens to fix it, as shims didn't work

I’ll have to make a video on what usually works best for taking a turn out. It’s nothing mentioned above.

@@LarrySMednick saw your second video and it's the same as you advised, set everything back to factory and a slight upward curve on the tip battens of the lower/slower wingtip. Your advice was particularly educational on making it two battens to gain effective area between, thanks

Good info 👍 Do the Evolution wing fabrics shrink or stretch over time? Also looking forward to a vid of a Rev with the Polini 303😍 Cheers

Yes they do. Typically mostly in first 20 hours. But they can and do stretch.

Thank you, What is the smallest motor CC an HP needed?
@LarrySMednick3 жыл бұрын
For the TRIKE I was working on 100 hp is the minimum HP which in this case takes 1300 cc
