such an interesting genre. on the surface it seems like the lyrics are always about the popular topics like women, drugs and gangs. sometimes you find guys talking about real issues in life and the struggles it comes with. to me, thats rap.

In my late 30s from small town Wisconsin. I moved to the Bay area probably at a peak of the Hyphy Movement in early 2006 at 20 years old. That movement seems to have in part influenced Larussell. It was the exact kind of musical cultural exposure I needed. The Bay Area was the global cultural exposure in one place I needed to get things I knew I didn't get. What a great place. Dive in. Visit if you have time. Wander the Bay and do local stuff. A great experience.
