How do you love rap when rap doesn’t love you back? From Rico Nasty’s harassment from toxic Carti fans, to Saucy Santana's unapologetically femme aesthetics in a queerphobic industry, to the assault case that put Megan Thee Stallion’s entire image on trial, each episode of Louder Than A Riot - the second season of our investigative hip-hop podcast - unpacks the unspoken rules of rap that hold the entire culture back. Tap in to our first episode at n.pr/louder-season-2.

Jesus, you are an incredible singer and did great work with your team, it touches my heart. I opened the rap genre from a new perspective....and your sister has a blowing mind voice and charisma ❤❤❤❤ The wife is always gorgeous, and looks like an angel, you are a lucky bustard😅😅 Greetings from a Ukrainian young woman who unwillingly lives in Poland to cover the living spendings of the family. I wish I was surrounded by such nice people as you are, but some of them have passed away....Admire your performance and the things you do

This is Hip Hop.....progressive, expressive, poetic and jammin'. Hip Hop is a baby from Jazz so it should have always been a variation of this. Dope with uplifting thought provoking messages to grow the listener not mind fuck the babies into thinking it's cool to be a junkie and just blame it on your mental health and how depressed you are....while THEY collect checks from all the impressionable kids buying into their B.S. They scared to direct them to the Universe....to a higher power....to something that gave them naturally unique powers.....the secret is....we ALL have a super power....once you discover it....TRULY discover it....nothing stands in the way....but the devil is always working so that you don't have the time, energy, patience or confidence to discover who you really are....Hip Hop has to make being smart...cool to the kids...period...

Word about being glad the world is taking notice. I've been into them since like '16 and they just make me so inspired and hopeful. I tell everyone about Nwigwe. And I'm not one of these guys that will trash the rest of the hip hop scene, I love hip hop and I think we're in a golden era of the underground (even though a lot of the really popular stuff is garbage), but I really crave and yearn for more faith in this music (to be fair if you look for it you'll find lots of rappers love Christ, and allude to it in their music, but obviously in the big leagues it's not fashionable to be so open about that, and I hope more folks are inspired by Tobe to go against the grain and tap into that well - point is though it's a message that is alive and well whether it's obvious to us or not). And I gotta hand to you Americans - it seems only Americans are able to make giving glory to Christ really cool. Whether it's hip hop like this, Americana, alt country, folk, R&B, soul, gospel - us folks from the rest of the world are real thankful that Americans (mostly Americans from the south let's be honest) are out there giving us proper Christian music.
