Las Damas Street / Dominican Republic

Las Damas (The Ladies) street is known for being the first street in Santo Domingo and in the entire American continent. It owes its name to the fact that during colonial times it was a place for the ladies residing in the colony of Santo Domingo to go for a walk.
It extends from the Ozama Fortress to the surroundings of the Alcázar de Colón
