Great series guys! But welcome to the ✨new✨ Vegas 🙈. I think I need to consider my Virgin point game instead of chasing BA Avios, that flight and entire experience looked amazing - but I’m with Charlotte, that posh fizzy stuff gives me a bad head too. Glad you guys had a great trip, and don’t feel too disheartened about the $4 off, after $17k coin-in I thought I was getting my room charges wiped… nope, $56 😅. Completely agree with the way things have gone slightly downhill! We were last in Vegas in 2022 before this month, and the prices have increased massively for everything! It used to be much cheaper and you’d get a great time with your £££, but now it’s pretty much level with London prices for drinks and food in places - and we don’t fine dine very often ourselves! We had a similar gambling experience overall, but I’m still editing our series and we did have some nice wins! I’m also terrified of flying 😂 I usually have to get a bit wavy before we go on and load up on vodka and rum on the flight 😂 I think even if you are a low roller, you are still putting money into the casino and most people are low rollers like us, so you should still get an amazing experience! Either way, we hope you had a blast! Hope you will return as soon as you can as we need more regular vlogs from you guys! You’re awesome!! Take care!

Charlotte just had the best two flights to Greece (vlog pending) and wishes she done it sooner. We still love Vegas but maybe ever so slightly less than before. It's still great fun. @@lctravels7041 I’ve got a lot better at flying since I’ve just taken more and more short haul flights, but yes I had thought about taking a course! Doesn’t help that my husband watches loads of air craft investigations! He also watches a helpful KZbinr called Mentour Pilot who does FAQs on aircraft and flying etc. so yeah I think frequent exposure has helped massively! Oh thank you so much I appreciate you subbing! Great series guys. You're right about the back end comps...they wont knock much, if anything, off the bill based on the value of the comp already received..so if room was valued at say 1500 and it is comp, they take that into account and then look at coin in etc. before deciding if yu can have anything else. I really need to get to Whisky Licker Up next trip

Loved the whole recap! Very detailed. I agree about the highlight being the 1st morning in Vegas. Everything is fresh, and possibilities are endless. The morning air, very few people out, it's great. Sorry to hear about the flight back, that must've been horrible. Especially since it's such a long flight. Happy you had a good time overall and made it home safe and sound. I think you both love Vegas, lol. I agree the Wynn is not what it used to be, I find the staff rude, and the noise level too high. Next time, if you get free rooms from Mlife, try Vdara, you'll love it. Thanks for sharing your vacation, we're heading back to Vegas in June, can't wait!

Hi L&C - very sad for the last day in Vegas and the last vlog - we've missed you but are looking forward to your trip to Greece! Love RiRa - but we've only eaten dinner there, never breakfast. 8 East is great Asian cuisine, love the Vital Vegas fried rice - everything you ordered looked great, though we tend to stay away from lamb. Nice to see the pair of you back in Vegas and another great series of vlogs, just a shame you felt uncomfortable filming your slot play in some places. Have to agree with you though about Skyfall and Whiskey LU being 2 of your favourite bars. In Feb i managed to tick sitting at the revolving bar off my bucket list of things to do. Spent about 3hrs there with a friend and my brother( didn't really remember getting back to Paris the next morning though, damn Old Fashions lol). Also regarding the view from the rooms, it's something i've never really worried about unless i was lucky enough to be staying in a Cosmo balcony room( which i haven't, one day perhaps) as i'm never in the room long enough apart from sleeping and getting washed & changed, but i guess it's different if your spending time or relaxing for a while.

Just found your channel, my wife had seen your earlier vlogs and mentioned you were back in Vegas. Cracking win last trip on Moolah. Really enjoyed this entire series. Slots are definitely more volatile over the last couple years. The bars on the planes make such a difference, I spend all the flight at the bar on Emirates 😂 Looking forward to your next trip

That is too bad they did not give you some waivers on resort fees. As far as MGM properties go, I find that Park MGM, Luxor NYNY & Excalibur will give you good waivers on resort fees and taxes. Like you said though, the room was comp'd minus some fees. This was a great series and I enjoyed seeing you both back in Las Vegas. All your vacation videos are great to. We flew back to Heathrow from Vegas on 2nd March during a record wind storm lol I remembered putting my seat belt on when plane was pulling back to go to runway n then fell asleep woke up 2hrs b4 we landed. The pilot was apologising for bad turbulence I had ask my other half was it that bad and apparently it was to none of my knowledge 😂😂. We usually fly virgin economy delight but flew back premium which was posh for us 😂😂

@@lctravels7041 we thought we got a ok deal £2000 for 2 of us 5 days at luxor in Tower premiums room flew out economy delight n flew back premium. We done omega mart, arte museum, sphere and went to Nitrocross which was on behind Planet Hollywood that weekend. Got to meet and get selfie with Travis Pastrana it was our 5th time to vegas n possibly the best one we've had

$4 comp 😒 terrible! We been branching out from MGM to other casinos. In downtown, have gotten free rooms at the D and Plaza. They don't charge resort fees on comped rooms. More quieter areas with room offers at Palms and RW Hilton. Also, instead of Dennys may we suggest Cafe Lux at Venetian/Palazzo which is also 24hrs. Cheesecake Factory menu with decent prices. You know what they say...Your worst day in Vegas is better than most anywhere else. Until your next trip...cheers!

I'd be tempted to stay at RW, it's just the location that puts me off. I love the south end of the strip so have typically stayed there - however defo open to ideas for the next trip. I'll check out cafe Lux too. Thanks again 👍

Yeah agreed on security. When I was playing solo on night three, I was literally filming Infront of the security desk. They didn't say anything 🤣. It was more than it was impacting Charlotte and that's my number one rule: never let the vlog impact your holiday.

Sounds like a great trip. I agree on the drinks service. It’s so unpredictable now. I just make multiple visits to the CVS stores to buy the big 24oz beers for $4. So much easier, I’d have tipped $2 anyway on the casino floor.

Kudos on another good series. In time I've leaned more downtown than the Strip myself, I find it a lot more fun with the bands and easy to do a casino crawl. Yes there are street people, but they are on the strip too. Staying at Circa is wonderful, the pool is a must. But I've also stayed at California, El Cortez, and the Downtown Grand - all rooms are very updated at these. And I think downtown offers more gambling options for low rollers. Anyway, great series, next time lets get some Laurie in a swimsuit at the Mandalay pool. That would have gotten some views :)

I love Vegas and I've found your vlogs which just make me so excited for my 3rd trip, you're very similar food/gambling wise as me and my partner. Currently now back on your 2018 vlogs 😅 could I possibly bother you with a question as Brits haha how was the weather in December? We go for 12 nights this December and Vegas groups say it's cold but I'm northern and used to cold (15 is BBQ weather to me 😅). How did you find it and what sort of clothes do you think you need for the time of year plz 🙏

The problem with the food coming home is it's an American catering company and really isn't nice in my opinion, obviously the food going out is great as it's a British company. Glad to see you both back and that you had a fab time, that's a long way to go for 4 nights, your jet lag must be off the scale!

Just came across your videos,thought they were brilliant! I’m off to vegas for the first time in September for 5 days, so really looking forward to it. I haven’t got a clue about all the tipping business, could you give me some examples on how much I should be tipping e.g.. waiters or waitresses in the casino while playing slots or blackjack. Thanks so much. Where are you staying? In regards to tipping the general rule of thumb used to be $1 a drink but the expectation has increased since COVID. If there's two of you, generally I'd say $5 for two drinks. Saying that, some people don't tip at all so a dollar should be ok. Thanks for watching and good luck on your trip.

MGM has sure tightened up on comps with their "new" sh*tty program, $4...🤦‍♀️ Was great to watch you guys back in Vegas, I still havent made it to 8East, i remember it opening during Covid when i still could not fly from Canada, I was messaging everyone to go check it out for me and report back😂 will have to get there soon. The only thing I can hope for is some decent comps in the future, although not sure when we'll be back. I've been to 8east twice now and both times have been exceptional. If I only had a few hours in Vegas, it'd be spent in there.

WeI stayed at the vdara a non comped room, we spent 10 nights gambling and eating at mainly MGM casinos and received $23 in resort credit so it’s not just you, every negative you commented on we experienced as well stayed in March this year, have never known the machines to be so tight and everything be so expensive.

Glad it's not just us. If you didn't get anything what chance did I have 🤣 I still love it out there but it's taken a slight edge off. It's still my favourite place on earth but it's lost any kind of value. It'll take a few years for us to go again I think.

My last trip was just a couple of weeks ago and I tried the same tactic at MGM rewards. The woman behind the desk told me that I was already overcomped so there was nothing they could do for me. I kind of feel like Dad is better than $4 LOL

They have gotten really tight with waiving resort fees, etc. If you look at your rewards, that $4 is probably your MGM reward points. The amount you earned yourself by playing.

"express comps" I think they are called. Thing is the room was free so I shouldn't moan. But $700 on Food and Beverage, plus over $2,000 spun on slots should be enough to waive at least one day? Still, it's all good fun 😊

I mean £719 each for the upgrade is good going. The extra “taxes” and fees are £450 over and above the PE seat. If upper is the way to go it might be worth looking into paying the £160 per year for the reward+ card and split the spending over the two. £10k for the voucher and double points accrued on the way. We find you get the £320 back in the value when using the extra points and voucher. PS defo trying 8 east after the review (hope you haven’t hyped it like the others vloggers do 😂)

That's worth thinking about. I have about 50,000 at the moment so there's a way to go to get enough for a business trip in the future so yeah...defo worth considering. 8east is unreal. Believe the hype!
