The growth of companies that perform hotel liquidations is a factor here. They probably get a percentage of total sales, so they might have a separate sale or separate room for glasses and dishes and other smaller items.

The cameras on boxes are probably the liquidator's inventory to make some money on the side. Worked for a retailer who went out of business and a liquidator firm was brought in to liquidate inventory and assets. They supplemented the store inventory with their trashy crap.
@LatitudeSky6 ай бұрын
That's routine for retail "going out of business" sales. The store hands over the entire sale to an outside firm, who will always bring in additional merchandise they already had. This is why the big "sale!" signs always look the same: they reuse them from sale to sale. They may also cherry-pick whatever merch is there and ship out the best items. Basically these sales are anything goes. It's all up to what the liquidation company wants to do.

That controller you saw in the black pelican case is for the theatrical rigging system. It was used to raise and lower the battens, curtains etc. The beige controller you assumed was for the safes was a safe programmer. There was also a key lock programmer in that box too.

Tropicana orginally before the renovation in 2010 had 1,870. Then the 1959 and 1964 wings were demolished to make way for a 2nd entrance and additional parking alongside Tropicana Ave. The 20th floor of the Paradise Tower was renovated to include 6 luxury villas, removing 30 regular rooms in the process. As a result of these changes, the hotel was left with 1,467 rooms in total, down from approximately 1,870.

Glad to see it all being sold off to be reused. Nothing that I would need or want. I think that a savvy buyer can pick quite a few different things for a good price and well below retail. I would however be wary of any upholstered furniture for fear of bedbugs. The pillows a big no! The wooden hangers, are a fantastic deal if they have regular hooks. Much better to sell it off cheap rather that it ending up in the land fill.
