Interesting about Anthony not getting any comp offers from The Palms. I stayed there last week for a couple of nights. I played some VP, Slots, and bought into the craps game 3 times for 500. Today I got an email offer with $20 freeplay and a two night stay. I'm actually going back to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. I'm going to call the Casino Host and see about the room offer.

Love at The Mirage is contracted through the end of 2023. Usually Cirque shows get 3 year extensions. So only 1 year for LOVE pretty much confirms the hotel closing shortly after 2023.

I did wait for the lobster buffet. 4 hours in line for 7 lobsters... I will say it was a reasonable price ($10 per lobster).

@@TheJackpotGents I found the lobsters to be well and thoroughly cooked. They tasted very fresh and I plan to repeat this dining experience often. I did not partake of any other items on the buffet; I came solely for lobster. I did eat one tail and I was not impressed with it.

Wow! I had to listen twice to hear about you’re 20k loss without any perks!! That’s crazy !My sister in-law is getting invites from the Palm I will warn her. Can I ask if that betting was on slots or poker, crap table? We were just in Vegas on July 29-1 for our Anniversary and the rain was nothing for us being from California I’ve seen worse. I’m a Venetian Grazie Rewards member Elite and I hit 5 small jackpot’s 297-1032.00. I didn’t bring much money but tried the 5 spin method and moved on to the next. They seem a little less productive and my favorite leased machine’s are changing out often or have been replaced recently and I think due to change in ownership. Thank you for the insight.

Anthony said he ran 20K through the machines so this was 20K coin-in, NOT a 20K loss so for example, if I play video poker and bet $5 and win $15 and then re-bet the $15 I won, my coin-in (or amount I ran through) is now $20 but I've only lost $5 so if you win say $50 on one spin and bet another 10 times at $5, that's another $50 of casino money that counts towards your coin-in. On my last trip to Vegas, I had a coin-in of $181000 BUT I only had $7000 gambling money with me so I didn't lose $181000. I did however lose $4000 of the $7000!

Flight from Denver to Vegas leaving Sunday, departing Wednesday was $45 + Tax. 3 Night Stay at Linq after Resort/Taxes/Fees, was $300. Haven't been to Vegas in years, what big change should i avoid or make sure to take advantage of?

Thank you for the information, great stuff. In one of my FB Groups they mentioned that in Tropicana AC if you are playing a Dragon Link, Lightning Link, etc., video slot, it takes now $10 of play to get 1 reward credit instead of $5.00. I hope that does not become a trend in other casinos. 😞

That's a Caesars property and at all of their properties the earning rate is $5 per point on slots and $10 per point on video poker. We don't see they would want to change it to $10 per point on one particular machine.

@@JoePoker that is not uncommon for 9/6 jacks or DDB machines in Vegas. Somewhat interestingly you can get 9/6 jacks in Reno and Tahoe and they offer the normal $10 per point. The 50 and 100 play machines there are well known for those who need to requalify for status and are often packed during tier and reward multiplier days.

I usually play it at Green Valley Ranch. They have a bank of these 99.8 percent advertised machines next to the food court. Everything from 9-6 Jacks or better to the 8-5 Aces bonus poker mentioned above, all on one machine.

Anthony, you spent $20,000 in one day at a casino. Wow, you must be rich, you must have millions, to throw away $20,000 in one day. I have only spent $5,000 in my lifetime of gambling. It would take me 36 more years, just to get halfway. I started going to casinos regularly from 2017 at 31, until 2022 at 36. Before that I might have went to one in 30 years, 2016.

He didn't spend that much, he wagered that much. If you are betting 12.50 a spin on .25 10 play that is 1600 spins. You can play 800-1000 hands an hour so that's under 2 hours
