If I had to pay for it, I would not have gone there. I used a coupon that Caesars gives out once a year to loyal customers.. that and or sometimes they included food value in the hotel reservations. If I had to pay cash, I would uber it to chinatown!

Like you I was shooting for the Bacchanal but only made it to this restaurant but this was 4 or 5 yrs ago so I think they must have remodeled because I don't remember it looking like this, but like you, I thought the prices were way too high. And to be honest, I don't remember the food. I think we had a couple of dishes and left to go eat somewhere else, but glad you enjoyed your meal.

Dan , you and i think alike, i usually skip the bean sprouts also, especially if sprouts or green onion are not fresh. i also want extra wok heat on the ho fun, i like it a little burned, if u know what i mean. Now That is what chow fun should look, not the imitation dish from that Great Chinese Food at Coronado.

Loved the food but loved your humor even more!🤣. The prawns were huge and a little bigger than the Honey Walnut Shrimp at Ondori at the Orleans Hotel odd Strip but I think if u try Ondori you’ll find it equally tasty and cheaper all around too. Also, their dry beef chow fun looks better than Beijing (sorry, but I like the crunch in bean sprouts) , and their regular beef chow fun is even better! Give Ondori a try - u won’t regret it … their sushi and sashimi are a must!

You’re so used to your local Chinese American restaurants, you denigrate various Chinese restaurants based on your perception of what’s expensive/appropriate prices on their menus and totally disregard the work; fresh mise en place, quality of fresh meats and fresh produce?!!! Each order is cooked to order using freshly prepared ingredients meaning NO processed ingredients! Yet I rarely hear …”Oh this chimichanga ( $18.99~$26.99) platter is so expensive”?! Nothing but process ingredients for a gooey meal. Or……”this burger 🍔 ($9.99~$23.99) is so expensive” As in anything, you pay what you get! Quality cost! Skilled chefs cost! Those shrimps 🍤 are U10, averaging $19~$30/lb. Different levels, different price points ……Get over it people 😣 Simply GO where you feel comfortable!

There are vegetables I dislike because they taste "earthy" but I like bean sprouts. Bamboo shoots and mushrooms I think taste much more "earthy" and I just pick them out of they are in a dish.

Looks like plastic plates from a cafeteria…the taste is more important than presentation but they could have used a different set of plates. I will go try this place when I go in September

be sure your vitamin D level is high normal, if not, fix it with costco vitamin D! I was real low and my allergies were killing me, nowadays fixed that with 10,000-20,000 IU a day of vitamin D.
