Elon's Boring Company was paid $48.7 million for the tunnel. It has a peak capacity of over 4,500 passengers per hour, and over 32,000 passengers per day. TBC got $6.25 million for the operation and management of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Loop, beginning February 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 and gets $167,000 per month as a management fee to maintain operations. Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, noted “We are certainly headed toward an autonomous system.” Larger capacity vehicles are also expected to be rolled out at some point. Typical walk time between the West Hall to the existing North/Central Hall can take up to 25 minutes. The same trip on the Loop takes approximately 2 minutes.

As a passenger it is very efficient. Almost no wait time, and it takes you where you want to go without stopping.

@@ZaLodowyMur A metro driver would have to take every passenger to every stop. That’s wasted time at each stop for the passengers who don’t need to go there. I understand the efficiency argument if your aim is to keep people on the vehicle for a longer time.

@@kevinbailey8827 but there are 3 stops, and cars can pass each other in tunnel, this system can't cope with more stops due to fact that cars can pass each other

@@ZaLodowyMur The system currently has 5 stops with a sixth (Westgate) that looks about ready to open. Eventually the plan is for over 90 stations. The cars can pass each other at the stations. Some stations are set up so that you can bypass them completely, so that only vehicles that have passengers to pick up or drop off will enter the station.

Fwiw, a underground super highway system was planned but both the mole people and the grays living in the under ground bases joined up to kill the plan by threatening to dig big cavernous sinkholes under every factory Musk has in the US😂jk
