Bouchon is a must go to every Vegas trip. Lisa had my favorite breakfast except I always add the sauteed spinach and a slice of almond brioche. Morimoto Disney Springs Orlando was a big hit but have not yet been to MGM location ... probably because I tend to dine within Palazzo/Venetian the most.

Jebus, 4 Gyoza were $15? You could buy almost 3 entire bags of them from Trader Joe's for that price. And I can get a sushi boat which includes 2 rolls, 10 pieces of nigiri, and 8 pieces of sashimi at my favorite local place for 52.95. I just love how the big name chefs come to Vegas and charge whatever they feel people will pay. I realize it is a dining experience, but there's just no way I would be willing to pay their prices.

Fresh, ethically harvested and sustained fish isn't cheap. The cheap crap we all usually eat is not comparable to this level of quality. Is it expensive? Yep! Is it worth it? Hell yes. Especially as a treat. Certainly not every day.🙂

@@laurawachler1403 I'm sorry, but our local favorite place sources all of their fish based on quality. Some comes from Japan, some comes from other nations. We have known the owner for over 30 years and he is a personal friend of ours. So we know first hand what we are getting is among the best available, and it doesn't cost anywhere near the crazy prices that Vegas charges.

Living here - you have to understand that real estate on the strip where many of these restaurants are can be hundreds of thousands and more monthly in rent for their space- in fact there is space on the strip that per square foot is the most expensive in the world and competes with Dubai- as silly as that seems. Also, we’re in the middle of the desert and it gets up to 115 degrees and hotter in the summer here- getting fish shipped here fresh can be difficult daily. Those factors along with the pandemic raises prices and simply that we are a not only a vacation destination but have become a hub for high end chefs around the world to show off their skills and compete. We are unique for sure- the days of old world Vegas with the cheapest food to ‘get you here’ are all but gone- there are still some places that have that and maybe that would be a fun episode for Bill and Lisa to seek out and do as they still are around here and there- you just need to know where to go.

I'm so happy you got to try Bouchon! I recommended Bouchon for breakfast on a comment for one of you Mon Ami, Gabi episodes.I love both restaurants so much! If you ever go to Mon Ami, Gabi for dinner, the roasted chicken is wonderful; I think maybe a notch above Bouchon's roasted chicken.

Thanks for another very enjoyable video. Bouchon is my go to restaurant for breakfast or brunch. It's also a great place to dine for dinner. If you go back, order the lobster benedict. It is sensational, even better than the crab. Also, they make the best bloody mary's I've ever had.
