LOL, Las Vegas NM is the original Las Vegas. It is about 70 years older than the city in Nevada.

This is my favourite town. I don't live there, but love to visit. Hello to St. Paul's Peace Episcopal Church!

I lived there for 6 months, half the time at Storrie Lake Campground and half the time caretaking a property at 6th and Washington (the big house across the street from the yellow house with fish scale shingles and turret). The house you called the Addams Family house is the Crow's Nest B&B. The only operating Carnegie Library in NM is across the street. The town has more than 900 buildings listed on the National Historic Register. If you go back, I would suggest going to the Plaza in the Old Town (West LV) and checking out the Montezuma Hot Baths and the Castle. The train depot is pretty cool inside and the Castenada Hotel next door was recently renovated after 70 years of dormancy. But the most amazing thing about Las Vegas, NM, is its history. Banditos, vigilantes, notorious outlaws, range wars, Santa Fe Trail, railroad, movie and tv production... Lots there.

That's very interesting. Thank you for your Feedback. Who knows, maybe I'll revisit Las Vegas, NM one day - there is something about that town. But for now I am done with the Western States and I'm currently travelling the East of the country.

World College would have been a nice touch to show. The castle 🏰 was the best remodeling job in the area.

This dude didnt even see the historic part of Las Vegas. Some city explorer. I would have at least asked some people what to see. Oh well. Ya, We are the original Las Vegas and I am pretty sure that there are no other citys or townships named Las Vegas which means the meadows.
