@@MH_6160 No, they’re NOT. I have family in Beverly Hills, and see ALL of the news there. Yes, there have been smash and grabs, and yes, about a year ago a customer at il Pastaio restaurant was mugged of his $$$ watch. But the city has THOUSANDS of cameras everywhere, bulletproof glass on storefronts, and most importantly, roaming police 24/7. It’s a very safe place!! …..down the street in West Hollywood, or Santa Monica, not so much.

We agree. The Macy's an Dillards are what the industry calls "B" stores. This means a smaller store format with a more limited selection compared to the locations at Fashion Show for example that would typically carry a full line. I don't really go to DTS very often but was there for dinner last evening.

@@kennixox262 I don’t expect the high end luxury stores in Summerlin (they’re ALL at the Strip), but like you said “B” list stores. I do appreciate the Sur la Table, and Crate and Barrel that are there…….but most of the rest appeals to 16 year olds! There’s a small Pottery Barn, and Williams Sonoma down the street, and I like Tivoli Village a lot………but the stores there have all mostly closed!! It’s just all very subpar…..I expected more in Summerlin!

I agree. Sur La Table is great but I have all the high end kitchenware I need. Crate & Barrel is also nice but I view that appealing to the 30 year olds setting up their first homes. Have not been to Tivoli Village since it first opened. Seemed a bit of an odd spot for shops and it really does not work. The owner of the center must be having problems.
